Stuck on level up

i recently returned after a long hiatus, and I made a new seasonal character (the Scholar, though I doubt that matters much), I took the time to grind all the way to 62, using Mirumok which is where I did it before.

The problem is when I hit 100% of level at 61, it froze and stopped letting me earn exps, insisting I have 100% of level. I can't figure out how to advance to 62... which I want to do before I graduate season and move onto a normal server.

I've sent PA a ticket last night, but I figure it might be a while, and obviously I kind of want to move on with what I'm doing. Has anyone else had this problem, or know how to fix it?

I wrote a ticket to PA and couldn't write back when they responded with the same thing. On the off chance you notice this, here is what happened:

I tried a bunch of solutions including what you suggested, doing quests, and grinding monsters. I was stuck at 100% for hours, and I used different servers. As I was 61 and moving to 62, needless to say I had completed the BS quest (I don't mind PVP obviously, but due to RL medical issues I'm pants at it in all games now unless it's some kind of pure strategy thing.... my hands don't work quite like they used to, but I don't want to stop gaming )

Eventually I did hit 62, but it happened when I was just riding along on my horse. I am not sure what server it was on, but I think it was still seasonal at the time, though I did bounce around and try others to unstick it. I was unsure if this was something you guys (GMs) did due to my message or just dumb luck given the timing as it makes no sense for it to just go away.

That said I have noticed my exps seems to still be bugged. Yes, I know leveling is glaciar-like at 62. I don't have much exps... .244% as I'm writing this, but it doesn't seem I'm gaining exps at all from combat. Not even in occasional .001 increments. I have spent hours since hitting 62 grinding in places like Aakerman (looking for compass parts), or a couple of the infinite potion piece drop locations. Exps are not as good as say Mirumok, but it is a lot of killing.... and Olivia (Growth) is giving me a boost even without other stuff for as long as I have access.

What DOES seem to give exps however is life skills... yeah seriously. The little exps gain I have seems to have come from things like fishing on Terramin beach, my horse (I think), and turning in some of the quests. For example I gained exps from turning in some of the side-quests in Tshira Ruins while doing the weekly Venom-pity piece quests there.

Sorry about length but if you guys get REALLY bored, you might check and see if my exps is glitched. It might just be slow (which I expected, not trying to level anymore), but this doesn't seem right... and as I said, I unfroze when just riding along on my horse, seemingly at random. It was VERY weird.

you can only get to level 61and 99% on the olvia server/channels
you need to leave them
like Cadry told you
go to any other normal channel and you will get the normal amount of exp for combat
why not give Valencia 2 a try?

also...aakman is not very good exp
so expect it to take a long time getting to 63 there
elvia bloody monastery and orcs are nice for exp

I'll certainly try them. also I did sort of mis-read what he said, so apologies for that.

Right now I'm working on gearing up and enhancing my gear, I have heard the Elvia Orcs are tough, but they will be one of my next stops once I do some more silver farming.

Also don't misunderstand, I was not trying to level up in Aakman, I was hunting for the Levi's Compass piece... no luck so far. It also makes about 250-300 million silver an hour even with my skill/gear level, which is decent for me... though I am burning out on it. I just got a boat so I might try Protty cave for the pity pieces for the infinite potions for a change of venue next time I can play seriously.

I merely mentioned my exps bar not moving at all. Also... it stopped at 100%, not 99%, just to clarify that. Also it really did ding me while riding a horse, so I am not sure what happened. I was not just on Olivia.... that said now that I am 62 it makes sense it would freeze my exps if that is a limitation.

As I lose access to Olivia in a few days I might take the time to grind up one of my alts a bit since I can work on my main later, I just need to remember I can't get 62 there.

There is no bug. This is just the way the Black Desert M.M.O world is. Once you hit level 60 or 61 you saw downs trees at Mirumok Ruins until you can't gain anymore productive EXP and you move on to the next ZONE. Well, that's how M.M.O are suppose to work. Black Desert is an incomplete M.M.O since the start ten years ago.

Anyway -- You say you hit level 62. Sounds about right. Now you need to open your map and check for the ZONES where mobs need to be cut down to size and most of all give you EXP to hit the next level, which is 63, etc.

In your case, you could grind Dark Seekers or Crypt of Resting and gain very productive EXP. However, there are many, many, many, many factors you need to check on your checklist before you venture anywhere first. Checklist doesn't exist in the game. I mean, you need to evaluate your stats. Combat stats, etc.

You need to have a certain amount of AP (Attack Power) & DP (Defense Power) before slaying through any mobs before even thinking about moving anywhere first. For example, let's say I have 190 AP & 250 DP at the level of 62. Now I want to level to level 63, etc. I open my map or ask my buddy in the Guild where to go next. She might say come with me to O'dyllita and we can grind together. That's an excellent idea. (I would go with her) However, I might tell her I prefer to grind solo. She would recommend several spots like Crypt of Resting, etc.

It depends on your GEAR SCORE. Your AP. Your DP. The better your GEAR the better the EXP. against tough mobs. I can't gain any EXP. at Crypt of Resting if my sprite is dying because my gear in weak. I'll need 390 DP+ to exactly survive there. And around 315 AP to exactly kill anything at a comfortable rate.

The question is. What is your gear stats?

Let's just say your AP is 330 and your DP is 450. You can easily level at O'dyllita or Crypt of Resting and hit level 63. Or you can switch to the Elvia Realm and grind at Hexe Sanctuary quite comfortably.

B.D is an incomplete game. I seen abilities on my Tamer years ago that unlocks at level 99. The game world is designed more than ever for newcomers. Vets like myself suffer for real End-game M.M.O content. And mobs/monster zones that can level us through 70, 80, 90, etc. ---

I forgot to say. In order to get better you GEAR; you either grind for silver and save up or enter the hard reality of the FAIL-STACK SYSTEM, etc.

He is on newbie server and not seasonal/official, got it.
Trees is viable until 63, a ton of people have done it with the 500% scrolls.
Most geared people go Gyfin for exp, it's one of the "best" power level spots for that reason alone.

He is on a Seasonal Server and bounced around servers and had the same result!
Mirumok Ruins (Trees) is only good until 62 with the help of EXP scrolls for a great boost. If you're using those rare Combat & Skill 530% scrolls, you're wasting them. Please save them for a better grind spot. Tested it myself recently and the exp was terrible after hitting level 62 afterwards.
Gyfin (Underground) is another spot for grinding that still REQUIRES the proper GEAR and AP and DP to gain EXP. for a solo Adventurer.
