Game is a chore

Nothing about this game is fun, i often take breaks of 6+ months and come back to find little to nothing being changed, recently they made such a big fuss about changing publisher but it hasn't done anything.. Don't even get me started on the new 'event' quests. Optimisation is also dog water

Nothing but mindless afk chores disguised as activities, there is more to life than this dog water game so please cut all ties with it and afterwards you will feel amazing.

PS. ♥♥♥♥ your stupid market tax most of all. Literally 0 reason for it to exist.

There is no such thing as a free lunch, so why not start a restaurant of your own instead or an online game for that matter? And remember; there is no perfect pasta sauce.

I can agree with some things here. But this game is a sandbox and it is what you make it and for me if the combat was not as good as it is I wouldn't still be playing it but I can't find an MMO that competes with the game play even if the gear disparity is so large at times.

for reference I play a 290 / 294 / 318 Nouver awakened Zerk.

There is a great deal of chores and grinding
Pvp is the main squeeze but you need good gear and go get good gear you need to grind and afk a lot even with the new additions this is still the way the game is played

i have a level 61 Hashashin and i play awakened, the combat is not bad but it doesn't make up for so many flaws. So many pointless hurdles to jump through, such as market tax and the enhancement system. This game is not a fun game, the combat can be the best in the world, it doesn't make up for the rest of the dumpster fire of a game

Edit: The point i am getting at is there is no excitement in the game, everything is so watered down such as questing to level 61 being the most boring and mind numbing thing in existence, the Chenga tome quest which quite literally makes you want to blow your brain out, the stupid amount of fetch and repeat quests from 1 side of the map to the entire other side just to say 3 lines of dialogue to some non important NPC.. no this game is awful. World bosses are not that enjoyable, you don't feel like you are doing any real damage and the frame rate is so bad that most of the time you turn off nearby adventurers anyway. MMO Genre should just be retried

why did you get the chenga tome if it is boring to you?
why did you have to level to 61 then?
why do you bother with the main questline if it bores you?
or you know take long brakes from it whenever you get bored with it

there is no afk activities if you do not want to
it is there for ppl that do not want to play active

following weird guides that tell you what to do
when you can literally do whatever you want to do and make a decent amount of silver to progress gearwise in whatever small/big way you want

Seems you are doing the wrong things in the game. Try doing some things different next time you come back and see if you enjoy them, if nothing appeals to you then might be time to move on to another type of genre. There are life skills like bartering where you can avoid the market tax or you can grind in a spot where the loot is mostly all trash based like Miru to avoid it. As to optimization try playing on remastered, game runs way better on that; as Ultra is for pictures only pretty much and will burn just about any graphics cards life span into the ground, but really might be time to go find another game if those two things still bother you that bad. Might want to wait til December when the new snow area is supposed to come out next time when you come back, that a little more than 6 months but at least there will be pretty snow areas to look at.

It's a grind game, you either like it or don't. What they really need to change is how the quests work, it's a mess. You can start new quests and then half way of doing the quest line finding out that you need to have done an other quest line before that and having no idea what quest it is. They should just lock all quests that can't be finished without doing an other quest first. I can understand why a lot of new players get frustrated by it, because I even I still can get confused by it after 1.5 years of playing.

Keep convincing yourself that the game isn't a pointless, badly made ♥♥♥♥ show. I don't care there is so much more to life than leaving your PC on overnight to make a few million silver or grinding the same pointless mobs for 5000 hours just to get one level up. This game sucks sweaty fat balls and the sooner other people see that, the sooner they mighr actually make a good game

Every business is criticized...ESPECIALLY games....this game sucks in so many aspects, it feels like i play a mobile game, all it needs is a gacha system and it goes from 99% mobile game to 100%. There are so many restrictions in this "sandbox" game that it's no sandbox anymore.

Criticize games is normal but if you don't like it why keep playing because right now you are playing BDO while at the same time saying is sucks in many aspects. It don't make any sense at all.

Play something else if you feel like it's a chore, and if you can't because you are obsessed with the game or have an addiction to MMO then seek help from professionnals because we can't help you cure your trouble.
