are you confusing bartering with trading? theres the trading you can do on land but then there is bartering that you can do with sailing by bartering different goods.

No, I'm not.
Bartering does not have a Mastery. Which is why I am wondering what the point of earning EXP is (beyond a certain point).
I think I will get another Artifact so I can swap between the two different settings for everything. I mean, Mermaid III seems pointless, so I can't see any point in "Oceans Embrace". Better, perhaps, to use something like "Chasing the Sunset".
