The red dots on this map are possible locations if someone else has not gathered any from those spots already.

Watch out for NPC road bandits when you got one.
I also don't know anything about not being able to buy trade items for that purpose. How else would you get them onto your wagon or horse, other than taking them onto your back first? In any case you can still make trade crates yourself and use them for training and place them in storage just for that purpose instead of selling. I assume that still works but I don't have a character which still needs to do that or an hour or two spare to prove it.
Are you aware that buying Dalbeol Gukbap on central market provides a considerable boost to strength training? It comes from LOML but is usually available on CM. Try it. There are two other Gukbaps also for Health and Breath. It drops off in effect at the higher levels (say, above 20). But is still better than the green Spirit Essence.
The only problem with crates in storage is that they cannot be moved other than manually, or placed in another storage. So you need to make others to store wherever you may wish to train.
For example, try to craft a Grape Crate: https://bdocodex.com/us/item/7437/
When gathered, in your inventory it is called a Magical Mandragora.
Even after PA did the Trade change, one used to be able to gather these and when they went into your characters inventory, since it is a Trade Item, you automatically sported the Trade Item Backpack.
After my test, I found that is no longer the case.
PA changed it to be a simple trade item that will not train strength anymore. 😞
Thank you warbaby345 for giving me the mind to test it out and find out this method no longer works. It used to work, even after the Trade Change, but now it doesn't.
I learned something too, from what you just said. Thanks.
I have never encountered a game with such depth as Black Desert. Will we ever stop learning?
