no mount quest?

I read that you are supposed to get a quest for a free donkey mount from the black spirit at lvl 10. Now i am 20 and still haven't got it. I am all done with Velia and moved on to Heidel.

I think the free donkey mount is for a shai. You can buy mounts in the horse market too and also buy donkeys from just about any stable keeper for silver. Early on silver is a thing but getting a good mount is one of the first things you want to do in bdo. I' recommend buying a tier 7 courser mount for about 50 mil silver or one with sprint, instant accel and drift. It'll let you get places really quick and be a good first mount that doesn't cost any arm and a leg to start off. Use drift and instant accel alternating the skills and you'll find you can instant accel right after every time you use drift.

ive received 4 mounts so far thru quests, and no donkey, i bought that one. you can also tame and breed horses. im a new player, but wanted to make sure you were aware, i received my brown horse quest in velia if i recall. 2 grey horses somewhere near celephan, and the camel in the town before the desert.

Thanks, I saw an NPC talking about taming horses but she was only selling the rope, apparently you need sugar cubes as well?
