Defeat a Sea Monster

Hello,

I'm about to do " Fughar's Secret Adventure Journal " the days I have to do " Defeat a Sea Monster " ( https://www.blackdesertfoundry.com/fughars-adventure-journal/#Defeat_a_Sea_Monster ).

Do I urgently need a ship with cannons? I don't have one at the moment and don't need one except for the quest?

Are the costs for crafting high or is it possible to buy one in the game?

PS. Maybe someone will take pity on me and do a little round with me these days to complete the quest :)

You should be able to create a Party request, looking for ship owner with cannons, to help you complete Fughar’s Journal: Book 3.

As for creating your own ship method, you can exchange via Shakatu’s Seals or make at Port
Epheria....

If it is something that you want, you can buy one of the Central Market. Frigate for Sea monster hunting and PvP. Sailboat for bartering. You are not going to get rich on either. About 1.5 billion a day for bartering at end game and that takes 3-4 hours. It's really low apm though.

There is an introductory quest line (great expedition something) that will give you two ships for free and introduce you to various sea places. One of those ships (and the first one you get in the quest line) has cannons. It's nothing fancy and if you intend to do much boat-wise and have a couple billion silver to spare you should probably just buy a frigate off the market. But if you're a cheapass like me and would rather spend that couple bil elsewhere go for the free quest boat.
