if talking about character starting point, no. you will have to go travel to where you want to go which isn't bad unless maybe you picked land of morninglight as a new player and have not done the magnus questline.

if new to this game, traveling becomes trivial, you end up having fast travel through the wells(magnus questline unlocks these) as an option and/or have a mount that moves quickly. if you are happy with the character you currently have but not happy about the starting area, it won't matter soon, just go through the storyline level up and keep getting better equipment

OPs probably talking about Servers. Like changing region from Türkey to EU or NA.
I can not help with that, sorry mate.

oh that cannot be done. characters are locked to the region server you started them in. OP will have to start new if they switch region server

i don't care about my progression as long as I switch my region to EU/NA. I can start again.

Try raising a support ticket asking to do the change you want.
If support wont do a transfer, consider going direct to naeu.playblackdesert.com and see if you can create an account there. (IE directly, not through Steam). Remember you can refund Steam purchases if you haven't gone over 2 hours playtime.

^ This. ...and a bit FYI: EU/NA Players can play on both EU and NA servers (I recommend NA)

So I thought it might take a long time before they answer so I didn't send a ticket to the support but they answered right away. They said I need to buy the game again from the na/eu website and start from there. Now I don't think i need vpn or anything right? or do I?

Regarding a VPN;

I don't think you will need to use a VPN.

I expect that support were aware of your location and would not have said to buy from the naeu site if PA don't allow it.

The Pearl Abyss Terms of Service includes;

"③ The Members shall enter their actual information when filling out the application form. In the event that the Member falsely records their identification information or steals another person's name, the Member shall not claim the Member's rights under this Agreement, and the Company may cancel or terminate the service contract."

You need to comply with this, irrespective of using a VPN.

I suggest you don't use a VPN and navigate directly to naeu.playblackdesert.com You will probably be served a pop up recommending you go to another site, but you can dismiss that and continue to sign up on naeu. "Region of Residence" is a datum required to create an account, and Turkey is selectable. The website also offers a free trial.

In other words, you can test at no cost if you can "openly" play using the NA/EU servers. You can try a VPN if you can't sign up without, but you risk being permanently suspended if you don't comply with PA's TOS.

While we are on the subject, it is against Valve's TOS to use a VPN to connect to their Steam service. Quoting from the Steam Subscriber Agreement;

"You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to order or purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, Valve may terminate your access to your Account."

Black Desert is a decent enough game but not worth risking your entire Steam library.

Although, of course we are talking about video games and they are completely worthless in real terms. So nothing is really at risk.

this region locking thing is really frustrating , I'll try to cut short to my story , first of all i claimed this game for free back in 2020 and ofc it was a MENA version because i live in north Africa (don't see why they put me in MENA while I'm very close to EU , EU is my server for every online game .. ) so a friend who lives in EU bought me this game again (which i find very illogic to own 2 versions of the same game lol ) i played it as NAEU for a while ... i decided to get back on this game but i found it put me on MENA again ... like wth is going on

Most games are like that, though.
There used to be some that would allow you to transfer, but at a cost. And it was not cheap.
