Crystal's breaking like comon 2024

Make them not break i do not see a single good reason for them breaking.

*Nods* I hate that crystals break as well. There are countless expensive crystals I own that I'll never ever use because they can break.

If they would not break then the market would eventually be over flooded with them.
Most crystals are linked to an other because you need one to make an other.
If they would not break then eventually everyone would have the BiS (Best in slot)
Breaking them will cause wealth to shift, when your 5bil crystal breaks new players farming the lower crystals will benefit from that because those lower crystals are needed to make the higher ones.

Yes it is frustrating but I understand why they did it, also you can restore 3 broken crystals a year, so that is a potential 3x 5 billion silver you can safe yourself.

I would see that as a good thing. Red Dead Online you can get the best gear and stats within a few weeks of playing the game, and from there you just have fun actually playing and exploring.

One of my least favorite things about BDO is death penalty, be it XP loss or gear loss.

It just unfairly punishes players with poor internet. Its bad enough that they don't have centralized servers in NA and Crystal Loss is just more salt in the wound.

of course it makes sense
it tells you that you are on a spot way above your gear level and you should leave

there is alot of silver(or used to atleast) in making crystals to sell

the only thing I could see PA doing is making the crystals/materials drop a little more often so more of them are in circulation

No does not make sense with them breaking atleast if they didn't break u would have a stable crystal economy like in what world would u take a crystal on there is worth bil if u know there is a chance of losing it is dumb it's "R word"

what they should do is make crystal only allowed to pearl shop then like it's mental how u guys can support breaking crystal as a good thing

If you are using crystals that are hard to replace your using crystals you shouldn't be using in the first place.
When my 5 bil crystal breaks I can easily replace it, therefor I equip them, before that I used lesser crystals for a long time and had no issues farming the appropriate zone.

you can retrieve broken crystals up to 2-3 times a year. iirc if multiple crystals break at a time you can retrieve them all and it counts as 1 retrieval. if you go into the trash bin in inventory there should be a button for crystal retrieval.

They should not break on death.. they should just expire after 24h of use.
And idk either supply them with some bs energy or buy some new ones

probably would be annoying to have one break due to some dc issue. i havn't had anything expensive break. if i'm in a sketchy area trying a new grind spot or connection been seeming iffy, i just swap to different crystal build that does not have anything expensive to lose. been working so far.

maybe a compromise could be have a couple crystal slots that can never break instead of all crystals unable to break? maybe it be the slots garmoths heart adds?
