However, there's a property in zones called "Agris Fever" for which a zone uses much less agris than other zones. To find which zones have Agris Fever open the Monster Zone Info tab (Escaoe->Adventure->Monster Zone Info).
You'll see right away that the first zone in the list, Aakman, has a trait "#Agris Fever" at the top. If you click that button it will give a list of zones with that trait:
- Aakman
- Centaurus Herd
- Crescent Shrine
- Gahaz Bandit's Lair
- Gyfin Rhasia Upper
- Hystria Ruins
- Jade Starlight Forest
- Kratuga Ancient Ruins
- Olun's Valley
- Padix Island
- Shultz Gurard
- Tunkata
Now, these are the Agris Fever zones which have the most efficient use of agris, but they had some patch notes several months ago specifically saying how much agris each zone uses. The problem is I can't find a link to those zones. The usage is different for all zones.
Also, of note, the patch notes are hard to understand (to me at least). They seem to suggest that to get the most efficient usage of agris you have to have the recommended AP (which strangely sometimes it calls Attack Power and other times Attack Damage, which I don't understand the difference). What I can't figure out is whether having too much Attack Power uses more agris than having the recommended Attack Power (or Attack Damage, whatever that is).
For reference, here's the patch notes related to my above paragraph:
https://www.blackdesertfoundry.com/global-lab-updates-13th-may-2022/#All_Grind_Spot_Reward_and_Drop_Rate_Improvements
But I just can't find the patch notes which give very specific details on how much agris each zone uses.
Agris is based on mobs, what defines efficiency is the amount used per kill per trash value, there’s a table made by duodecil that covers it. Agris is a fixed amount that only changes if you attack different mobs, stats don’t affect it at all.
Thank you Drandok.
Duodecil's Agris Spreadsheet was most helpful.
Duodecil's Agris Spreadsheet [docs.google.com]
He and several others did the work and it took him over 100 hours to compile and complete.
I appreciate very much what he and his friends did.
Even though some parts might be outdated, it still answered my question, mainly about why Manshaums sucked up so much of my Agris and gave very little back in return.
Short story, don't use agris at Manshaums. 😊
That's because they changed the price of sanuil trash not the value of agris, but the agris efficiency spots haven't changed
I can't find all the patch notes (they've changed it more than once since May 2022), but this is an example where you can see the actual costs in agris for different monsters was changed at the same time they overhauled the spawn and mechanics.
https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-US/News/Detail?groupContentNo=5251#Monster
"Changed the amount of Agris Fever consumed as follows when defeating the following monsters:
Saunil Siege Tower: 15 → 90
[Swift] Saunil Siege Captain: 60 → 900"
But there have been other changes as well. I just can't find them to link here.
In May 2022 there were sub bosses and bosses lurking all over the place, and now there are progressive waves where the regular monsters were made better and the bosses made more rare. There's very little in common with the Saunil Camp of May 2022.
That was added because people were spamming commanders, you shouldn't be running agris outside of agris burn spots as it is. But yes they did change the captains because 700 gs players were spamming them for despairs, so they made them a trashloot mob not a despair mob so higher gear players wouldn't farm them
