Enjoy wasting money on something that should just be allowed for free.
Yes, I am for real. It's blatant greed to charge ten bucks for something that costs the company nothing, but the developers don't care what anyone thinks of their greed.
You don't know if it costs them nothing, there is possibility that they hardcoded that part and if they want to change it they would need someone to do it manually, that's why they lock it behind paywall.
Same problem have Steam, you can't change your login
If it was hard coded they would just say it was impossible and leave no solutions towards resolving it. It's likely just a line in a database that is easy to change and costs them nothing to do.
