NOTE: There are Trade Items that are Trade Level restricted.
You can raise your Trade level buy buying something you can buy, go to a different city, and trade it with that other Trade Managers that would buy it.
Also, you can do fishing in one city, take it to the Imperial Fishing Trade Manager in a different city and get Trade experience.
You can also do Imperial Cooking or Imperial Alchemy boxes in one city and sell them to a Imperial Cooking / Alchemy Trade Manager in a different city to get Trade experience.
Thank you for your answer but the thing is i don't have the trade option at all with the rikta npc, is this because my trade level is low? I can see all of the options with this rikta npc like exchange, give gift and chat etc.. but there's no trade option at all
go to the trade managers in Calpheon use the chat options with them at the expense of 10 energy per option to gain the knowledge that you need for the trade items in the region,
PA have changed the trade system completely and made it in my opinion overly complicated that requires fannying around looking for rumours from npc's to get the best trade prices, so all the trade items you used to get from trade managers and what managers actually sell as items have been changed dramatically, to complete the log you just need to get the knowledge it's just finding the trade manager that has the chat option to give you the knowledge :)
from my sort of understanding of the new trade patch notes lol
Only the capital city trade (e.g Calpheon/velia/heidel) managers of each region have the chat options to get the knowledge on trade items.
The small settlement trade managers is where it starts getting really confusing from the patch notes some still trade some don't I think lol as in they can buy trade but only if it was purchased within the region or something along them lines lol to be honest reading the notes i was like "well they just killed trading" lol
Thank you for kind answer, i went to the trade manager at calpheon and i saw the chat where you can exchange 10 energy for certain knowledge however i couldn't find the Trent Carpentry Tool, do you think i need a certain trade level to see it?
You might need to chat with them all, but don't pick a topic, just scroll through the topics to find the Trent Carpentry Tool knowledge you are looking for. Then discuss with them that topic.
I already have the knowledge before the change, so I couldn't say who has this knowledge after PA has changed the whole process.
There is more than 1 trade manager in calpheon have you tried all of them? :)
i have already completed the log (before they made the trade changes) and got the knowledge a long time ago, so i don't get the chat options with the managers to say for certain which 1 has the knowledge you need, if none of them in calpheon has it, then i'm afraid its checking every trade manager you can find in the region looking for who does have it lol :) wish i could be more helpful in saying X npc has it lol
Edit: tsel's comment wasn't there when i started typing my response lol funny we more or less typed samething lol
