Also just a side note..
You can only do that once.. full on one character.
Yes, there was one Season that PA (Pearl Abyss) made it where a Season Character could exchange ALL of their Tuvala Weapons and Armors to Boss Gear.
Normally, PA does Seasons where a character can only exchange one Tuvala Weapon or Armor to a Boss piece.
Here is the kicker to the Guaranteed upgrade to PEN system.
It is only allowed once per piece per Family Name.
1 Helm
1 Chest
1 Glove
1 Boot
1 Main Weapon
1 Awaken Weapon
1 Sub Weapon
Example:
Once you have completed Guaranteed upgrade to PEN on a Sub Weapon you can No Longer do a Guaranteed PEN upgrade for any other boss sub weapon.
The same goes for Helm, Chest, Glove, Boot, Main Weapon, Awaken Weapon.
You can do each piece only Once per Family Name.
If you have completed a Guaranteed PEN upgrade for a piece and you want to upgrade another same type piece, then you have to do it via the regular RNG way.
only do 1 armour piece, 1 weapon, and 1 accessory :)
The reason being is the 1st reforms you do are expensive and will cost you as much in silver as if you was to buy the piece from the CM,
but the nail in the coffin is every time you reform a piece the next piece you do is 50% more expensive.
Eg: you reform your red nose armour and it cost's you 80 old moon pieces (about 4 bill silver) these old moon pieces need to be bought from old moon managers and cannot be got in any other way.
You then decide you want to reform your Bheg's gloves these will now cost you 120 old moon pieces (about 6 bill in silver) and so on and so on :)
if this is the last season and it will last untll end of december i'll await for genuary of the next year when the season will last forever: this way i will enjoy the game more calmly and without all that pressure to upgrade all to pen in a hurry to not loose the exchange ways... this is the reason why i love/hate this game: if you can enjoy it slowly and more calmly you will enjoy it more and to the best withouth becoming mad for the idea to update all to pen in a rash. cheers
ps: one last thing, the game sayes that i need something lke a time warn black stone to upgrade my styff that now is all boss gear but at tet level: will be there a new way to finsh theupdate of my gear from tet to pen in a future without restarting all the season process again?
pps: something i really hate is the boss gear helmets... they are simply horrible and the character with those stuff is practically aweful! is there a way to revert the gear from boss gear to tuvala one again?
Your character equipped items.
Each item has an eye symbol.
The outer circle is the actual armors, waepons, and accessories.
The inner circle is an outfit you might be wearing.
Outfits supersede the looks of the actual armors and weapons.
If you have no outfit, simply click the eye icon to shutoff the display of that equipped item.
Now, as a newer player, these videos might be overload and make your eyes roll into the back of your skull. Hang in there. Eventually, when you have played BDO enough. They will make sense.

ShadoSabre Failstack Method
This is not an actual failstack tutorial, but it will show what Zen posted about when they mentioned blackstar gear. Except in this video the person is using boss gear.
