How to Enhance Tuvala TET to PEN?

I have watched several videos about this and all they show is by using failstacks and boom success enhancement at 30% success rate.

None of the videos explain what to do if it fails and the gear drops to TRI. I am unsure if I should use Cron Stone as many players said that it's not worth to use it on Tuvala Gears.

Pretty sure on on the season pass quests is to get the Naderrs band, which allows you to store/swap enhancement failstacks. it'll pop up when you click "Exchange Chance" on the enhancement screen.
Try for PEN, if it fails, store that stack and get a 0 stack that you can build up for a TET chance again, and if it pops back to TET, you swap back to your PEN stack for another PEN attempt.
Lot of back and forth if you keep bouncing off the top, but it's how it goes. Eventually you may run out of Advice of Valks to use, at which point you either use blackstones to directly create a failstack (click the + next to additional enhancement chance) or you do some other failstacking method. Or just wait until you have more Valks as the low level ones aren't terribly difficult to get.

People don't recommend using crons on Tuvula because crons are expensive and more chances at popping Tuvula are cheap as chips. And Tuvula stuff is easy compared to boss/blackstar/fallen god stuff.
That said, if you're getting to the end of season and just couldn't be bothered futzing around with failstack juggling, feel free to use the crons you've got. Sure you're "wasting silver" but it's only silver. you'll grind it back quicker if you've got better gear anyway.

use duo 25fs tri30, 50 fs to tet, pen 60fs.
you can extrac fs with devour in blackspirit. buy blacksmith scrol from blacksmith npc.
or you can stack fs on evry char you have.
conclusion, you need to swap failstack if gear got downgrade

also don't be afraid to use those random low number valks enhancement papers you have in your pearl inventory. you get tons of them, +10, 20, etc, up to 50 are super common and replaceable

There is an item that drops from that Arafu gobliln thief guy that randomly shows up while grinding. It's called Frozen Tides Blackstone, it is a guaranteed enhance from TET to PEN for tuvala gear, not the acc but for everything else.

I have graduated early already but I got 3 of them while grinding at polly's and desert nagas

Fight world bosses like Kzarka, etc., they have a high chance of drop advice 30 and 40, this way you go back to tet, and for pen use other fs stack stored in Naderrs band slot.

how much grinding did you do to get 3? this current season is my second and i do not recall having it ever drop frozen tide blackstone. when i read up about arafu the only info i found was it can drop treasure pieces related to the area it shows up, which i have also not had drop.

enchanting tuavala weapons and armor is very easy, the jewels a bit more difficult but if you use cron stones you'll get pen gear very easily

well I fast tracked the main story, grinded all the way to 59. i think when i was 56 after the awakened quest i went to desert nagas for an hour and then did polly's. i got those 3 at polly's if i'm not mistaken. i was using the 600 and 530 scrolls so it didn't take too long.

made sure to be running item increase scrolls and i also have invested energy into the polly nodes.

there are stones like that for accessories as well, iirc, i got one of those at polly's. just pay attention when you get the notice that arifu robber has shown up and find him and kill him. it's all rng though for the drops.

i save my crons for seasons so i can pen tuvala stuff and have decent enough gear on all my characters. i've been here since the beginning though, i'll casually have around 15k or so crons. i don't ever enhance out of season. i am the happiest bdo player because of this.

For Seasonal Summer 2023, Grumpy Green does show that not only with the Season Pass that Seasonal Server Afuaru does have a rare chance to drop the Frozen Tides Blackstone and Boiling Tides Black Stone as well.
