Stop Making Us Leave Our Computers On!

Can we all please petition to the devs to allow us to have a character run a life skill without leaving our devices running?

There are many reasons why this would be an amazing change, but the most important one and the reason I refuse to run my computer overnight for life skills is to protect the longevity of my computers life. In any case that you guys who do leave your device on don't know that it is not healthy for any device to run 24/7 especially high performing devices that use a lot of power and generate a lot of heat.

I'm sure if we all agree to pester the devs or even strike (I.E never leave your device on/AFK Farm) we will get the results we want and be able to farm while entirely logged off. For those who will argue that people will just never log in and farm forever, it will be the same. all you would have to do is log in once per day and you would get a timer reset on your idle character.

If I may suggest, Goatzilla, most afk activities (such as fishing or farming with workers) can be done while you're awake doing other things on the PC, even while you're playing other PC games.

Just kick off your AFK activity and hit Escape,->Disconnect->Minimize to Tray

Then start up your other PC game or browse the internet or watch movies or go play with kittens.

If the other game isn't too intensive on PC resources the BDO activity you can run wihle minimized to tray can even be horse training.

You don't need to do the AFK activities while you sleep, especially since that's expensive.

Considering how high the number of people that work on PCs nowadays is, that suggestion doesn't work for a lot. Including me. That's why I immediately wrote off those pointless life skills. If I can't achieve anything with them within a reasonable amount of time leveling them then they might as well be completely useless. I probably won't even play the game long enough to level any of them.

@OP it's just the grindy nature of the game. Thinking you can change it by pestering the devs or striking is just funny. Especially the striking part. Absolutely hilarious lmao. Unless PA want to change it, they wont change it no matter what you do.

Also as a side note I keep waiting for an MMO RPG that won't want to be treated like a 2nd job... Maybe one day

The gameplay in that game is a joke. Specifically the combat.
