Green weapon boxes - suitable fairy "food"?`

I just got lucky and received a radiant fairy from Leila's petals. I am currently levelling her up with Akum and Lemoria armour.

I levelled my previous T3 fairy up with tons of green weapon box stuff but subsequently discovered that these could be converted into Melted Iron Shards. I have lots of these boxes left and was wondering if they are best used for shards or fairy food.....

Apart from perhaps from upgrading a ship, I don't plan on building anything - but the game is so convoluted I thought I may be kicking my self later lol.

You can feed your Fairy Green Gear, but that is waaaaaay tooo slooooow. lol

Feed them Blue Gear.
I ground Polly's so much for skill points, but also the added bonus of getting Lemoria Gear that I fed to my Fairy.
You can also grind most Pity Piece spots.
They will drop either Lemoria or Aakman Gear.
Or, you can buy either from the Central Market.
Fairy's LOVE Blue Gear. 😊

I do remember green stuff being slow in comparison to the blue now you mention it. To be honest my main joy here will be clearing up the darn inventory space occupied by all this superfluous gear lol.

My basic concern is that I get rid of my green gear in the most sensible way i.e. is it pretty irrelevant whichever way I dispose of the greens - slow fairy progress or melted shards...

Meanwhile I'm juggling Theah's Orbs trying to get a first good skill on my level 10 fairy!

I always sell my Green Gear.
It also depends on if there are already 4587652300 pieces listed at bottom sell price.
If that is the case, then I'd feed the Fairy the green gear. 😊
