Why i can't cook?

Hello
I was trying to make beer. I press L Than i go to basic cooking put all ingredients and start production. Put my character says is not working at all. Do i miss someting?

You make beer at a cooking tool in a residence :) you don't make it from the processing/simple cooking tab :)
You can get a cooking tool from vendors, houses cost Contribution points being invested in a town :)

THX. Do i need specific cooking tool? or all cooking tools works fine?

All cooking tools work the same and can be used at any skill level, The differences between the tools is cooking related buffs as in reduced cooking time and durability of tool :)
to start with the basic tool will be fine if that's all you have access too :)
Cooking/alchemy tools wear out as you use them the better tools you can get repair boxes for by exchanging a none broken version of the tool with certain npc's (islin bartali in velia for cooking repair tool is one) just take them a tool and exchange it, this saves you having to keep entering "place mode" at your house, then removing and throwing away the broken tool and placing a new one :)
