you can see Chris Poli have only 304dp on this character
so you should be fine
First hit knocked me down, even with a 74% resist.
May Fairy was gulping down HP Potions while I was down.
Second hit killed me.
My character has 2640 HP. That is including full Boss gear.
I know that amount of Character HP is nothing, but trust me, something is up with this Main Quest Line boss.
It hits harder than all of the other Main Quest Line Bosses I have encountered.
It hits more like a Level 5 boss rather than a Level 1 boss.
EDIT: The one thing I believe Chris has in this video is the Infinite HP Potion of which I do not have yet. Your Fairy can gulp down this Potion every 2 seconds.
The other thing I noticed different in Chris' video is he only had Raz'nal the Burning One spawn. My character not only had Raz'nal the Burning One spawn but also another creature with her. They both were attacking me.
Level 62
All Skills are Maxed
DP = 341
Evasion Total = 828/821/821
DR Total = 318/318/318
Crystals:
2 = Crystal of Elkarr
1 = Corrupted Magic Crystal
1 = Magic Crystal of Infinity - Critical Hit
1 = Ancient Magic Crystal of Nature - Adamantine
1 = Ancient Magic Crystal of Nature - Giant
2 = BON Magic Crystal - Carmae
1 = BON Magic Crystal - Viper
1 = Dark Red Fang Crystal - Valor
2 = Black Magic Crystal - Intimidation
NOTE: Two spawn on me.
Raz'nal the Burning One and an immediate summon she calls.
Almost simultaneously they spawn together.
2- Han Magica Crystal Hooms
2- Dark Red Fang Crystal- Armor. If you need a bit of tankiness
2- Rebellious Crystals or the cheaper variant
2- Jin Viper, you may be missing so that will help
2-Magic Crystal of Infinite- Crit hit, helps not having dr penalty if your having issues
2- Elkars as you stated.
I wouldnt use resist gems unless your doing pvp and thats a maybe. If you get cc a lot try using Special Evasion Gem they do help as well. If you are taking a lot of damage try using Khalk's Elixir and Beast Draught. And rotating foward guards
Say, normally I get knocked down 10 times.
With the resist crystals I get knocked down maybe 2 times.
They have little to no Forward Guards or Super Armors.
They do have like 1 or 2, but mainly no.
Most of their advantage are Stuns.
The Awaken Tamer does have a Q Block, but it sort of blows in my book.
The player needs to know WELL in advance when to use the block.
If you see an incoming attack, the block is too late.
I have inquired with PA about it.
Not even the Main Quest Line boss at Olun hit me that hard.
Odd things:
01) Raz'nal the Burning One and a Summon spawned simultaneously.
02) First hit knocked me down and did over 1700 HP Damage.
03) My Fairy gulped down a 275 HP Potion.
04) Second hit, hit me while I was still on the ground, and it killed me.
Granted, this Boss is supposed to be hard, but not as the Main Quest Line boss.
I used woosa and maegu last season and on both i killed the burning one without dying, from my own exp playing you need to pressure the boss and not stay away from him, so that he don't get to fire of those big hits, because the second hit whilst you're stunned will always finish you off :)
If you see the big red circle appear and you can't break the attack in time then head for the stairs so that you are out of the red circle, the other enemies spawning are from outside of the room/space you fight in, if you go too close to the arches that you can see down into the other section from at the wrong time, when the enemies are near it puts you within aggro range of them and they come up to get you, if you stay close to the stairs side/center of the space you shouldn't have any trouble from additional enemies coming to get you :)
Here is an example Sorc Awakening Player with 303 AP/397 DP and 5600 hp gets smashed a few times as well and struggles really bad (not my video).
