Improved Epheria Sailboat, Cannons

I have the Improved Epheria Sailboat.
It shows two cannons on port and two cannons on starboard sides.
But when I aim either the port or starboard cannon, only one of the two aim and only one of the two fire.
Is one of the cannons on each side a fake?
There is really only one cannon on each side?

Also, is there a keyboard command to furl and unfurl the sails rather than the mouse pointer method?

Are you running standard cannons? or have you equipped cannons, i run the improved epheria and it def fires 2 shots a side :) never tried it without equipped cannons lol so curious if that may be your issue :)
Erm the sails i don't think there is a key assignment don't remember seeing one in the keybinds and i do remember when 1 1st started playing bdo hitting every button on the keyboard, trying to work out how to drop the sails to no avail lol

I'm using the Blue Elena Cannon that I have enhanced to +6.

And they def only firing once that's strange, what you should get is 1 wider arrow that goes out to the target and then fires 2 shots at the same time :)
I have +8 julia cannons and had no problems with the cannons working correctly, just took a bit of getting used to, oh that reminds me lol you can press Q or E to get a broadside view for firing the cannons makes it much easier for targeting :)

Nope you just equip 1 cannon to the cannon slot like you would any other gear :)
hmmmm you kind of have my curiosity now, gonna have to do some digging lol because I don't remember having to do anything different than with none upgraded ships, just put my gear on and off i went lol

Here's a screenshot.
There are the double cannon aim lines, but if you look along the left line only one cannon ball is shot.
I shot the cannons from different angles and elevations.
Every time only one cannon ball is shot.

really strange is your cannon ball count only going down by 1 at a time? just to rule out visual glitch.
Only other thing i can think of is maybe sailing skill, I do remember seeing something before about being a certain rank and doing some quests to get a captain/admiral status (with at least 1 character) for some sailing stuff to unlock but can't remember what the stuff/quests was lol
i've been googling reading threads i can find that may have an answer, but can't find anything that helps the situation lol it's more players comparing green cannon to blue cannon rather than having them all not firing.

Confirmed, it shot only one cannon ball.

lol, you are in a port and safe zone(ie green text in mini map), you will only always shoot one cannonball in a safe zone and it won't do damage, go out to sea(red text on mini map) and shoot and you'll fire all your cannons. :-D I've got a carrack and it will only shoot one cannonball in a safe zone even with 9 cannons per side. it's just how the game works now in safe zones like towns.

I have had my sailboat for awhile now, but never really used it.
I only a couple of days ago upgraded it to the improved version.
In a nutshell, I know little about the sailing aspects of BDO.
My Shai life skill character will be doing the sailing SMH and Gathering.
I am so glad this is normal when one is in a safe zone.

Ha ha ha sometimes it's the simplest of answers :) never would have occurred to me, never fired my cannons in a safe zone :)
