Infinite Potion Upgrade Issue

I submitted a trouble ticket with PA just now, but I don't have much hope of getting help so figured I'd check here as well.

The last several months I've been doing the Infinite Health Potion grind. I got the pieces from Blood Wolves and Forest Ronaros and used them to make the Greater Blessed Spirit Essence potion (200 hp every 2 seconds).

Today I got the part I need from the Necropolis, and when I went to Merindora to cocmbine the part with my existing potion to upgrade it, instead she gave me a separate tiny potion, a regular blessed spirit essence (125 hp every two seconds).

I didn't want that. I wanted the 275 hp version of all three parts together.

There are no instructions in game that I can find. And I do not understand any of the internet guides.

How do I combine the 200 hp potion and the 125 hp potion to get the 275 hp potion.

This makes no sense, and I'm scared that Pearl Abyss lack of instructions is going to cost me the last several months of grinding I did.

EDIT: Just found a veteran in game who is guiding me through how to fix this problem. I'll update this message when I complete all the steps. I'll recount them for the curious.

Okay my friend Birker in game walked me through fixing it.

1. I used simple alchemy to deconstruct the small potion back to its original coponent

2. I spoke to necropolis node manager and exchanged 30 garmoth scales for an item

3. I spoke to Okiara River node manager to exchange 300 peridot leaves for an item

4. I used the middle sizes potion I had, the water from when I showed the pieces to Merindora and the other pieces in a Plus pattern to make the largest potion.

This is so confusing how in the world do people figure out what to do without help :)

Thanks, I added that to my favorites so I can use it when I start the Mana Potion grind next week :)
