Report a translation problem
This change was applied today after the new update:
• You can no longer equip Life Skill Mastery items with a season character.
Take all the fun routes out of things, while adding new content and improving systems in the game but limit how you can enjoy them, and also not fixing problems long-standing reported by community members. I guess i'm not playing a seasonal char for enjoyment anymore.
Season characters gain Life EXP +30% (excludes Trading).
2. Increased Gathering Loot
On the season servers, now when you use Gathering tools and obtain Gathering loot, you'll obtain +100% more basic resources.
This does not apply to barehanded gathering, digging, milking, and scooping water.
if you are saying that lifeskills get these buffs, then they are useless as season characters can't use any tools/ life gear other than very basic tools so these additions are not worth the words the devs wrote them with.
Even thought you cannot access to mastery items during the season, you will be able to enjoy Life Skill EXP boosts and more drops from gathering. Of course after this season we will make sure to tweak certain things according the feedback of the community.

Hmmm not sure about the season balance things lol
I play my season characters exact same way as i do my normal characters on normal servers, so lifeskill the same amount as on a season server and to be honest i think that would be the same for most veteran players that play seasons :)
You mention season/normal gear as in armour/weapons :) Yes that works because we have Tuv gear, that at the end of the season gives tet boss gear, so being restricted from "normal" gear is not that big an impact which keeps the player base happy :)
Now we come to life gear :( ... for this season you have taken away the "normal" (manos/loggia) life gear, BUT have given no alternative for season characters.... do you see what i'm saying???
Why not something like Tuv lifeskill gear that can only be used on season characters, be enhanced with some season life stone, during the season, that converts at end of season to a piece of manos life gear, based off it's enhancement???,
you know the same as "normal" gear, but for life skill gear.
As far as tools to use there is the common stuff with low durability, Sharp and Steel, and then once your Skilled 5 you can use Magic tools with 250 durability, but none of these are repairable. As far as clothe it is mainly the Silver Embroidered that you can use to boost your experience gains.
Yep I fortunately had the silver to re-kit all my life clothes with TeT embroidered ones, but no accessories can be used,
My wife however who's a more casual player and only plays seasons (she don't like getting pk'd whilst questing in grind zones on normal servers) does not have the silver, because she just spent her savings, 3 days ago on her 1st piece of Tri manos accessory (she had full Pri manos already) that she now can't use any of it :( to say the least she wasn't happy about it.
But the biggest impact is processing, we can't mass process, so I am currently spending pointless wasted hrs processing mats for my alchemy/cooking, 1 at a friggin time!!
1. Buffs and bonus don't mean jack if the vast majority of the drops are behind mastery levels. Hint odds are it's one of the main reasons to do life skilling.
2.The decision to remove Manos and loggia gear wont happen to have anything to do with oh i don't know maybe the DP that's associated with it....
3.Aside from not being killed (pvp season and server buffs aside) what that difference between season gathering and normal gathering on those servers. It wont happen to be that season servers are buffed behind the senses now would it....
4. Tell it like it is. They (PA) don't want life skillers cause my pvp. (It's a joke if u dont get it).
5. Just a guess here. Life skilling in past seasons makes mega tons of money. Reason servers are buffed behind the sense. Whether we (players) see it or not we notice the almost night and day differences between season and normal servers buffs excluded.
Me personally i think it's #2 that'd explain why they (PA) decided to axe the gear as for the tools i dont know. However if i were to guess #3/6. As a fringe #4 even though its sadly not all that fringe.
You are already getting a 100% bonus to items on seasonal, so someone with guru and 2k mastery would just tank the entire market.
Also people were using hunting cloths for DP as an exploit to not need DP for their new seasonal toons LOL
