Not worth playing without value pack, and just no

I already paid for this game once and I'm not interested in spending 15 a month on some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t pack for inventory space and you still lose 15% to the marketplace with it anyways. (35% normally)

This game "Might" be worth the $15/m, but what is offered in that pack is not.

I can buy it from in-game currency, but you don't let preorders and I'm not going to sit through after losing 30 bids with some wonky bid system that frankly I don't trust.

To those of you whom are new, the Value pack gives you storage space everywhere and on all characters +16 in fact. Which is a lot given how much garbage they've created to add to storage demands.
If you like to gather don't bother playing this game; You have spend money on pets to be able to gather effectively. On top of this they outright ruined gathering by smothering the map with nodes that can bring in massive resources to anyone whom has had the time to invest throughout.
So, there is never a gear reset of any kind and you'll always be playing catch-up to the competitive.

You are given this pack at the beginning so after they expire your gameplay will noticably change.


After playing this game I've begun to grasp more the concept of supply and demand, but more deeply though the manipulation/creation of demand.
Because these ♥♥♥♥ers manipulate it to death. Especially with inventory space.

This game was probably great at one time. But I want to play a video game to explore a world not a world that just wants to steal from me. That exists enough in reality.

It really sucks because this game world itself is quite amazing. But, I'm not going to get started paying $15 a month for a game that will always have people spending hundreds more and because of it they will always be ahead of you, terrible for a game based on pvp.
I'd like to be compettive, but I will not spend money to get there. So, Korean games are a miss.


Edit: A monthly pack with current features and Pearls allowance would be far more viable. That would allow those whom refuse to buy more♥♥♥♥♥♥to simply utilize their allowance over time and support the game.

The unlimited access to the beauty salon and unlimited access to merv's palette is worth the $15 alone considering other game companies would charge for $10 for every character appearance change/dye rng bundle box. As for your complaint with gathering: you don't need pets to effectively gather, pets don't pick up your loot from chopping a tree or mining a rock so I'm not sure where you got that idea from.

Last patch actually removed a lot of trash that mobs drop as well. I really don't understand how you say it's not worth playing without the value pack, then complain about how the value pack is "trash" as these two comments completely contradict each other. At the end of the day if you feel the value pack doesn't offer enough for it's price just don't buy it with real money and use silver instead. VPs go up more than anything in-game.

Every guide I read talks about the pets you want as they increase the amount you gather outright.

Basically competing with the entire server for them so yeah, it can be hard sometimes. I sat at the marketplace for two days just trying to buy some Archer gear so I get where you're coming from. It might be better to invest in a transaction maid so instead of sitting on the marketplace you'll have instant access to buying stuff using the maid. I believe you still get a maid once you hit level 56? Not sure anymore though.

If your talking about gathering materials (trees/stones/blood etc) then there is one pet that has a 30% - 60% chance to increase gathering amount per gather attempt. You don't really need it but it's nice to have as it definitely helps with gathering, but I'm sure plenty of people play without it too (We're talking about the infamous Hedgehog pet)

If your talking about loot dropped from mobs, then yes, pets are super important. Having at least 3-5 Tier 1-3 pets is the baseline for optimal looting once you reach endgame areas. Pet's go on sale often, so it's usually best to sit and wait. They also get flooded on the marketplace when pet related events pop up.

1 tip would be if you do stop playing for long periods of time make sure you login every 30 days for a week at least , and you can usually grab a 7 day value pack every single time , i regularly come back in just to check whats new if anything and to make sure im on track for my next value pack or rewards , have a look for returners reward page to see what i mean :P either way you can manage just fine with basic storage values , i did for most of my hours , stack well , spend points into towns for all the storage you can ect :P grab a trade wagon even if your not trading they have the largest carry .
