Fishing problem
Anyone else getting no items in your inventory when fishing in a safe abundant area?

I have plenty of space in my pack, i'm close enough to the water (sometimes standing in it), my rod is full durablility.

I can see the toon catch fish and it comes up in chat but it doesnt go to my inventory, it also happens with or without "throw useless items away".

Its frustrating when i set my toon fishing when i goto bed and finding out i have nothing to show for the nights work.

I've seen in the past people have had the same trouble. I manually fish a few times and turn on/off throw stuff and that sometimes fixes it.

This is somewhat 'normal' as it can happen in out-of-bound fishing zones, areas where the game would normally 'not allow' you to fish, but somehow the restriction weren't properly implemented on the code. So your float will end up bobbing in the water, instead of your rod and float being instantly retracted (in areas where you're not to fish).

For instance, there are many of those shipyards in Calpheon, and should you fish inside one of these lofts, made to ease the boats into the water, your float will bob in the water, but you won't ever catch any fish at all! Regardless of what your fishing preferences are set to, whether automated or otherwise -- you'll catch NO fish or junk.

Try moving some distance away from 'that' particular spot (your spot of trouble in particular), to get the fishing mini-game going where you're allowed to catch fish instead.

Wouldn't call it a bug, per se, but more an oversight in coding.

Lag or rubber banding.

That's a small tangent on this regard, as the no-catch matter can go on for the entirety of the AFK fishing process, which in most cases is left on for hours. So it isn't really an issue about lag, and more about the game's restrictions that were not properly implemented.
