Special characters and spaces not allowed.
So. get home from work today excited to play. I want to make a beserker and try it now. Name has no special characters or spaces in it and it keeps giving me the "Special characters and spaces not allowed." error. Like, wtf. so i googled it, deleted usercache from the doc folder, that didnt fix it. cleared download cache from steam, that didnt fix it. anyone else got any ideas?

All characters do not actually type out something.. or you might have tried to put a character in there that does not even exist in there interface. For example a copyright symbol. There could very easily be a special character in that name. Erase it all and try it again.

There are no special characters. Ive tried 100 different names. I made my witch just fine the other day. Now i cant create anything else

First, I suggest that you close the game and start it up again, second, try restarting your pc, third, try a diffrent server.

Try unplugging your keyboard and then plugging it back in again also.

Nope, nope nope and nope. Shut down my computer, unplugged keyboard, chose a server Without exp bonus on it, uninstalled the game and reinstalled.

I have a capital letter, but its still giving me this error... only have letters and numbers, no space no underscore, first letter cap

If you have numbers i think you can only have them in one spot, so you can't use elite language to get around the filters of profanity. Also if it's too long it won't work either.
