I'm getting this message too, after the latest mini patch

Two suggestions from the BDO website forums are

Delete your BDO Cache files, you'll lose your saved settings and need to set up the ui again.
Find the cache most likely somewhere like Program Files > Steam > steamapps > common > Black Desert Online > Cache. . . . Delete the stuff inside the cache folder, not the folder itself.
That was advice for the non-steam version however...it may make things worse for the steam version for all I know.

Some folks have had success with merely trying to connect to a different server.

Other than that, have you tried verifying the files through steam?

Hi there, this error is sometimes related to the Pagefile Size Management of virtual memory, and even at times due to the usercache and the game's Cache files being corrupt. Also, very often, a simple reboot of your PC will sometimes address this issue as well.

Set your Windows Virtual Memory to allow Windows to automatically manage them, if it isn't set to that preference.

Right-click 'This PC' on your Desktop > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Performance > Advanced > Virtual Memory > Change > Check the box 'Automatically manage paging file size for all drives'.

Have you tried the following fixes? Delete your usercache and the game's Cache folders, as already pointed out. Also set your game to run in Admin mode while you're at it, as well as that, clearing your Steam's Download Cache can also help with this issue.

1 ) Run the game with Admin priveleges.

C:\Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Black Desert Online > bin64 > BlackDesert64.exe <-- right-click > Properties > Compatibility > Run this program as an Administrator


2) Delete your 'usercache' folder and the game's 'Cache' folder.

Delete the 'usercache' folder titled 'Black Desert' located in your Documents folder.
C:\Local Drive > Users > (your username) > Documents > Black Desert

Also delete the 'Cache' folder in the game's directory as well.
C:\ > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > Common > Black Desert Online > Cache


3) Clear your Steam Download Cache by right-clicking the Steam client in the Taskbar > Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache.

Did you try and set your Windows Virtual Memory to allow Windows to automatically manage them?

Is your RAM overclocked? If so, reset them to their default state. Disable any RAM boosting software if you're running them. Have you placed any of the Black Desert related files into any RAMdisk type of programs? Delete those files from RAMdisk if you have.

Have you restarted your PC? Can you post your Windows version and build numbers please? Also, what are your PC specs?

Do you know how to perform a 'clean boot' to isolate the issue?

Clearing the cache as Iron Star suggested worked for me.

The issue is more complicated for you since a simple fix wasn't a resolve. In order to fix this issue we have to look at the fundamentals being covered. I hope you can understand that. What have you tried? Everything is a very loose term, as there are many, many things not listed here which have yet to be tried, let alone mentioned. Did you try a clean boot? Can you post your Windows version and build please?

To check your Windows and version and build, right-click Start, select Run and then typre Winver into the box.

oh windows 10, 1060p , 16gb Ram that one?
ive tried the method but it just freeze everytime i press the server so one thing i havent tried yet is re installing the game

You say it freezes, do you mean it stops running and displays "Client will be terminated due to lack of memory" error message or do you get another message?

Alright, thanks, just making sure you weren't getting a different error message after applying some of the fixes above.

Right-click Start, select Run and type Winver into the box, to get the Windows 10 version and build number. I may be better able to help if I know the version and build of your Windows.

My Windows 10 is an Insider Preview Build, "Version 1709, build 17083.1000". So in that format, thanks. : )
