No, you shouldn´t think that you must " grind" for boss gear.
Of course you can buy it off the market but seen the actual events, the Market is a real mess and you will very very rarely find +0 boss gear.

BDO is a FULL RNG game, everything is random every second you play. Just kill bosses, especially Field bosses and worldbosses.

Yes they are. Yet drop rate is low (far too low to be reliable) and if you look for boss gear best place is Central Market.

On a semi-related note, I think enhancing boss gear from 0 to PRI is more expensive than it's worth. I've enhanced from zero to TET a whole set (armor, sub weapon, main hand weapon and awakening weapon) for my main, and if I could go back in time I'd buy them at DUO from the market and then enhance to TET.

As for blackstar, I've made a zero to PEN awakening weapon and a DUO to TET blackstar boots, and skipping the 0-PRI on the boots was so worth it, saving a ton of fail stack scrolls and memory fragments.

I have a bunch of unenhanced boss armor in my bank which I'll never enhance because I just hate taking it from zero to PRI. I'm just holding onto them for when I need to melt them for quests.

Here’s my take on RNG enhancing and it is akin to the ‘Jadam Ensen (^3^)’ post. Well. Sort of.

01) If you are into gambling or if you are not, you need to learn to put limits on yourself psychologically. Whatever those limits are for you, what works for you, learn them and adhere to them. Do not fall into…. “The next roll will be my Success” trap via your feelings. Only roll logically, where you know the odds are better in your favor AND you can afford the loss. Even if you RNG fail with the odds in your favor.

02) I look at the silver as in-game money. I do not look at it as real-life money, so when I lose it, it really doesn’t bother me. BUT I always spend it responsibly. I do not go out and cast my silver to the wind with a feeling, “This time I’m going to make it! I will that RNG gamble”! Think about your whole long-term goals. Not just enhancing a certain piece of gear, but everything. Spend responsibly.

03) Boss gear drops. You really don’t stand even a small chance for a Boss gear drop until after you get ‘S’ knowledge of the boss. I do not think all of the boss gear bosses show on the map. Urgon comes to mind and you get Urgon's Shoes from Urgon.

04) Buying and getting things from the Central Market fluctuates. I had a pre-order on the Central Market for Urgon's Shoes for over 5 months before it finally got filled. After that the Central Market was flooded with Urgon's Shoes, so I bought another pair for my second main.

05) I guess, I am of those few people that prefer to enhance gear (weapons/armor) from 0 to TET. I rarely have attempted PEN. So far all of those PEN attempts have failed (except on Naru, Tuvala, and Asula items). I look at the free Valks failstacks that PA (Pear Abyss) gives its players as free. I save and save those free Valks for months. I have saved up (9 each of +10, 68 each of +20, 11 each of +30, 5 each of +40…. and so, on etc. to +150). I see them all as free, no cost to me, failstacks. BUT I spend them responsibly. The biggest hurtles enhancing gear from 0 to TET are (+15 and TET). Those two enhancement hurtles can be your biggest silver drain. Keep that in mind and plan accordingly. Sometimes it is less expensive to Force Enhance, if available, than to gamble on the less costly method. Example: Let’s say at the level (+) you are attempting the enhancement, a Force Enhancement will cost you 10 Black Stones and the enhanced item will automatically loose its durability down from 100 to 30. Well, if you opt for the cheaper option and the RNG gods are not in your favor and you spend 13 Black Stones instead of the 10 by Force Enhancing, then you have really spent more not less.
