Well yes, I know that but it only lets me store 3 items at a time during a summon. So I can only deposit 3 items every 20 minutes then? Is this intentional?
It will transfer a stack of stuff, whatever's in a single slot in your inventory (you're transferring three because you have 3 butlers). So it's to unload the ever growing stack of trash loot you get while grinding without having to go back to town (or when you're just too lazy to go 50m to the other side of town for that one thing you want from storage). You can move hundreds of stacked items up to the weight limit.
Oh so you can re-use them, I was afraid that it was a one time use.
As you get to the higher end areas you'll end up wanting half a dozen butlers because those areas end up producing thousands and thousands of stackable trash loot items every hour, and you're not going to want to carry them around.
There's the overstacking horses trick if you don't have butlers, but there's enough events/discounts to get you a good number of maids/butlers over time so eventually you'll have that many anyway.
Oh and the difference between the maids and butlers is that Storage Butlers go to the town storage linked to your location (which may not always be the physically closest - desert areas tend go to Valencia even if you're just outside Sand Grain Bazaar), and Marketplace Maids go to the central warehouse. So butlers can drop off your trash loot, and maids can hand over that shiny thing you just bought on the market.
I see, thank you very much for the informations. ^^
Well at some point I saw an offer to buy like 10 buttlers/maids and since I feel they charge quite a lot for stuff (like 30$ for some skins) I expected the worst, especialy since a lot of MMOs are greedy (and gacha games, and mobile games, and some games with heavy microtransactions.......). Well now I know.
