STILL stuck on additional info required screen, 0 response from support
BDO team support is garbage, half the players cant even start the damn game ive waited over a week for a reply from their customer support, NOTHING

i launch the game and get a additional info required screen, i put in my info and my email associated with the accounts, and it says its already in use.
i have backed this game with HUNDREDS of dollars and i cannot even play it or launch it for that matter because you have no idea what the F you are doing with account transfers.

and you are NOT replying to customer support tickets.

i just checked my support ticket on their official website, they literally just deleted it......

Did you have more than one BDO account with Kakao? Like one via Steam and other direct ones?

I had one on PS4 and one on steam yes

The data transfer is a mess, yes. I have applied and successfully completed the registration process, but one week later still no confirmation that the data transfer is complete.
If you start the Game-launcher via Steam it will lead you to a registration page where you need to add info like name, email, birth-date, etc, and yes you will receive the message that your e-mail address is already in use.
But! if you go to the game installation folder and run the launcher from there it will magically only ask you for your e-mail and password and you will be able to get into the launcher.
Unfortunately from there you can only patch the game. If you start the game it will deny it as your data transfer is still not confirmed.
The only way to play is to go to the official webpage of the game and buy the free gamepass, but be aware that it will only allow you to play with a newly setup family name, so basically you start over.
Worked for me, Just did it 2 seconds ago via email trail. I assume this was meant for a PC/PC transfer.

This was meant for the steam version yes. And what is more annoying is that I put a help ticket in over a week ago and it’s been deleted. No reply or anything. Literal bull crap and I’m not re buying a game I bought on steam. Their customer support is bad

That is pointless though. Why would I go download a launcher and new game. When I’ve paid for this game and lots of in game content. It’s their job to fix it

Not my job to go buy a new game, kaoko games always replied to my tickets. Pearl abyss has just deleted it. We will see if they delete my second ticket

This is not a steam issue, or a valve concern. You need to contact pearl or the host of the servers for BDO. Steam is one method to log into the game, they host space, they cannot edit or change anything. BDO is not a valve or steam property.

Do those accounts have the same email? Is your PS4 version working properly? If yes to both, I wonder if you can change the email for the PS4 version and then you will be able to get the PA via Steam version going? Or maybe create a new email , gmail is quick and handy and free and enter that into the additional info dialog.

Pearl abyss support is what I did contact. Not steam lol
And yes pearl abyss deleted my ticket and gave me no reply

I don’t believe they will allow to change, and I’m not going to have another email I need o look after just to login to one game lol

Because with email accounts if you don’t login within a certain amount of time they get disabled

It ran perfectly fine before with steam version and PS4 version with Kaoko games, I think at this point with their lack of communication or care for customers. I’m just gonna not play this game anymore lol

Unfortunately you're not going to be able to have both the PS4 and the Steam-based client on the same account/with the same email.
The accounts created when using the Steam version of the game are different than the 'normal' Pearl Abyss accounts (like your PS4 one), and they can't be combined.
So yeah, since you used the email on PS4, you can't use it for the Steam client.

The only option is another email account. Sign up for gmail and use that. Inactivity period for gmail is like 2 years I think. Just log in every blue moon and that's it.

i have the same issue, but im a new player. instantly turned away and will probably delete my account so they no longer have my information

Why are you convinced of this? The additional info dialog flagged the email you entered was already used, so if you use a different email that you have created, you will clear that obstacle surely.
