One whole day...
What a joke.
The point is not playing with paint for a day, it's creating an avatar that you enjoy.
It's a clever and fun game, but this just destroys it for me.
So many other amazing games to play.
I'll check back in another year maybe you'll have it sorted.
You dont play the game to look at the color of your clothes.
Are you suggesting you would play this game just for the sake of painting your armor?
What I mean with what I said is that it doesn't take away anything from the experience of the game to have base colors on clothes.
P.S.
I am not saying it isn't a stupid system how you have to buy a "random" color and then use it once and then rebuy it e.t.c. It is clearly a messed up money-grabbing way.
What bugged me with the OP post was that they seem to think it takes away their experience of the game, or their immersion, when that doesn't really affect the gameplay at all, or story.
As much as I agree with you, BDO only holds for a huge amount of people because of the looks and anime shines; half mechanics are afks and singleplayer, small other is based on a rng walled gearing system. At least right now.
Its a shame bcause the world has huge potential even if story is awful
I agree with that.
I wouldn't mind a differetn way to get dye, even if it would be something like buying it for a lot of silver in game rather than acoin, at least then you could use it but still had to work for the money to buy it. Or something.
I still don't think it takes away any part of the game to not be able to change my white costume into blue e.t.c.
It is a lot worse with what you said, the rng in leveling gear.
No you are wrong, being pink or have the default color doesn't change the gameplay.
Honestly you sound like the type of gamer who doesn't play a game because it's a black character or an asian character, having a blue axe or a default colored axe won't change your gameplay. In the end you just don't want to spend cash to buy dye or to buy a value pack, since it's only cosmetics it's normal that it's locked behind the cash shop. Devs need to make money and if you can obtain dye with silver then you'll ask costumes being able to be purchasable with silver without using the marketplace because you want to change outfits every day to RP.......
So for now: Buying dye with silver is a very bad idea, unless it's a dye that cost 500 million silver wich last 1 day or something, so if you have a better option go ahead and tell the devs.
I'm not sure if that's true, but if most players felt the same way you do and spoke with their wallets, I'm sure dyes would've changed by now instead of staying the way they are.
