pen kzarka to reach AP bracket vs tet blackstar for monster ap

hi, i have 373DP and 286AP using tet blackstar. i would like to ask if which is better? if i go for pen kzarka, i can reach the ap bracket of 289ap. on the other hand, if i use tet blackstar, i can only have 286AP but i will have extra monster damage. please advise. i only pve.

It depends on the style you are playing, awakening or succession.
If you are playing awakening, hitting AP bracket on mainhand won't help much since AP bonus from bracket won't be carried over to awakening AP, but monster AP does.

Even if you are playing succession, in PVE Tet blackstar still hit mobs harder than PEN Kzarka. Most ppl say that PEN Kzarka needs to be C9 caphras to be equal to TET Blackstar in PVE.

In brief, TET Blackstar if you PvE mainly.

im guardian awakening. so, your advice is to stick with my tet blackstar mainhand at 286ap? and ignore going towards pen kzarka 289 ap bracket? i can reach 289 bracket if i c5 my kzarka.

Yeah, just use TET Blackstar and shove those caphras to other pieces.

brackets are more important. monster dmg can be supplimented with frenzy and food buff

At that AP extra monster AP > AP bracket.
Look at the offhand of ppl at high AP and see if they use Nouver or Kutum for PvE.

You most likely use kutum, so I’d still go zarka just because if he already has the weapon why throw away progression, unless he has billions then go for it, if not I wouldn’t waste selling a pen zarka an lose to the market. If he has billions then go for pen blackstar

He could prob stay with it, I don’t know what spec he plays so I can’t say more, selling tet blackstar still is a waste of silver if you already have it, but higher ap bracket is also nice an has more impact if he plays succ
