my characters are gone ?

I played this game long time ago ( 1-2 years ago), now i came back and i miss my characters, i can only create new ones, i had 60+ characters. After pearl abyss took the game it was reseted or what?

Yes, anyone who didn't submit to the data transfer from Kakao Games to Pearl Abyss lost all of their data. There's no way to recover it, you have to start all over or just give up.

All gone transfer to pearl abyss required user consent all other data not consented had to be deleted by kakao by may 31st

I was looking at getting black desert but seems it is some kind of incompetent circus and i will be forever avoiding all companies involved and have ever been involved with black desert.

Dont blame the publishers for this or others complaining about losing stuff as it was their own fault for ignoring spams of "transfer now!!! or lose all data!!!" which is gamer incompetence.

well i found guild on facebook and day 1 i got boosted to 60 lvl so u know xd

It's stupid easy to get to 60 without getting boosted even. Boosting just makes it take a few hours tops vs a full day

Then you are actually lucky as new players get lots of bonuses and you will easily find guilds willing to drag you to 56+ at Miru.

Stupid easy yes, but i need to buy the game again,. and all my stuff i had gathered during the time before this BS. True ripping ppl off, to buy once again for something already payed for. And yes, did this data transfer, but it was an error evry time saying try again later. Never got fixed just to rip ppl off.

u dont need to buy the game again u still own the game... ur character data just didnt transfer over is all
and it wasnt them ripping people off it was due to EU data transfer laws that pearl abyss was FORCED to do this when taking back the rights to publishing their game

Lol, this cope. City of Heroes literally kept everyones character account data for decades, to the point in which private servers could give you back your original characters if you had the original account/password

We were bound by law to request permission to users if their personal data was going to be transferred to another company, if we had not done that then we might have been fined.

When did this all happen last I played was Jan 19th this year and I safe because it will take me 30hrs to download the game to check and if it's all gone I don't even want to download the game
