3200h wasted.

I wasted 3200h on this game, 5000$ in currency and all my stuff is wiped ??? REALLY ?

I did not receive anything, I'm already talking with people, and will get my refund on all my transactions, this is disgusting.

Wasn't there like a 6 month period where you could transfer your account? They even sent emails urging you to transfer.

Again, I have not received anything or seen anything about said transfer, I was on a hiatus from Black desert for over a year, while they did give grace period, I wasn't aware of it, and a lot of others weren't either, data retention doesn't cost an arm, servers and backups are there on a regular, as for legal reasons, I call complete bull on their end.

Also, if my VALUE PACK, was able to stay, why can't my other items, hmm ? Sounds like very fraudulent behavior. If you can transfer something like that, there's no excuses for all my pearls and cosmetics to not be attached to my account in any form.

It's nothing to do with data retention.
The operations of the business (in Europe and North America which I'm assuming you are under) transferred from Kakao Games to Pearl Abyss.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation laws in the EU Kakao had to delete the personal data from all the users by a certain date as they were no longer operating in the market for that product.

That's why there was a transfer window to allow the personal data to be transferred over to the Pearl Abyss service. You had to agree to the terms of the new service (Pearl Abyss) to keep your account anyway.

Good luck trying to get money from a company that you paid nothing to.

yup only 2 months notice and the experience for the transfert to gameforge from enmasse was worst

damn in less of 5 months we had forced to transferts 2 games, tera and blaack desert XD

When you take a 1 year break, with no prior news to anything, you don't just come back to wiped data. If my value packs are still active from my previous "data" give me back my acoins, pearls or wtv you wanna call it and I won't care about losing characters

Kakaocash is gone, it doesn't justify removing all your cosmetics, while you don't see to realize I still have my VALUE PACK, but can't have my cosmetics, pure nonsense, so yes, they do have some sort of data. They are just too lazy to give it back.

The fact is we all Received the warnings there were even advertisements for it on google and such if you didn't see it fair is fair i know its harsh and i would be absolutely devastated as well but it is what it is

I'm not the only one who this has happened to, a lot of my friends got wiped also with no emails, nothing. ADS target a specific market, I've been staying on a long break from this game for a reason, now I don't ever see a point in coming back with my money being stolen.

anyway if you link your game account to secondary email account or put kakao or pearl abyss email in trash message by default it is your fault

seem you have black desert on steam, so in one year you never open steam ? because you should have news about black desert in front and top of your steam launcher, so you never read the news about the game you bought, never click on the news at top of your steam launcher ?

if you really never open steam launcher in one year, why you care to back to black desert ?

and it is not a risk you ignore about online game, we all know than when we sign to join online game we risk to lost everything, at least pearl abyss gave us the chance to save our account it is not like the poor player on tabula rasa, scarlet blade, hellgate london and anthem who could not save their account
