Boss runs are not an option for me, since the time I can play is never the time any of them spawn. I did do the mandatory Boss runs from the Nova Season, so I do get where you are coming from on what you receive. But being able to do the Boss runs then had a lot of time planning involved in order to do it. It's not optimal for me to do everyday.
As for Rift Bosses, sadly a personal weakness of mine is patience when it comes to Boss fighting. If it takes longer than 30 minutes, I really don't want to do it. The one and only time I tried, after 30 minutes, I took only 1/8th of its health off, so I quit and left the area. For me it is easier to grind 1000 to 3000 mobs at a pop.
Cadry Ruins: I can 1 and 2 shot the area, but it is not efficient, due to their Block capability. 1 to 2 shot when I get past their Block. I will not bother with that area ever again, unless I'm required to.
The areas, the both of you mentioned. Are they the types of monsters that Block a lot?
I like to grind areas, not highly contested, but give maybe not the best silver, but decent silver. That I'm not dealing with them constantly Blocking me from hitting them.
EDIT: I was able to make 70 million profit after expenses today, because I was able to play for 4 hours today, which is rare.
Combination of cooking (60 million), Seasonal character doing quests (9 million), and my Main character just doing quest repeatable quests to help get Contribution Points up (1 million).
You know you made 17M... it is not far off from the average of what I said you were making monthly which is 16M. Let's just say you pretty much did the same thing you made prior but instead of playing for 2 hours you get to play for 4 hours.
Here is an advice go to a seasonal server get your gear to at least Tri Tuvala which is PRI equivalent and power grind pollies or fadus. I'm certain you make more than 17M per hour especially if you sell the refined stones and do the weeklies. OR active lifeskilling like bartering or gathering. Start making spreadsheets and I'm certain you will see a big difference per hour.
Don't get me wrong Guru Cooking is great but if you really have a lot of AFK time devoted on it or with high masteries to buy mats or actual meals to turn to imperials. Especially with the upcoming new QQL to be able to stack 10x crates. I really don't see how you will improve your masteries and get 5b per month with how you doing now. 17M per hour is really bad.
When I count the silver I make, I only count the items I actually sell. In my eyes, it's only silver made if it is in the bank (market warehouse).
I haven't started a farm yet. I think I need to experiment and see if it helps although I have limited time. I'm thinking, I need the best residual income I can get while grinding.
I've finally made cooking Master and now I can make 550,000 per box. Since I have all the things I need handy for one of the master recipes, I think I might be good to go. Also, I'm just 3CP away from being able to turn in 170 boxes per day.
I tell you this the higher the imperial delivery levels the more AFK and bottle neck mats required which you don't have. Players think that once you reach Guru Cooking money will start flowing in hardcore and you get to buy every gear you need without having to take risk *wink wink* nudge nudge. Not having to grind a single mob *wink wink* nudge nudge*. Having all pen accessory/blackstars from buying said items from lifeskill money *wink wink nudge nudge*.
At this point I think you are convinced that your progression of 500M per month will increase due to your levels not your mastery points which again you never mentioned. The benefits of high masteries is the bonuses you get.
The progression right now for Seasonal is literally higher in terms of what you making right now. Getting to 61 which is a day or 2 or a week of gameplay nets a player at least 2.2B worth of equipment TRI Accessory Ring and Earring. Now you add loot buffs, tuvala mats, events. There is no doubt in my mind lifeskilling (unless it's afk now) is "bad" for anyone that is into progression which is also equals to silver progression.
Of course my opinion, like what most people say do what you enjoy the most. Just don't blindly follow players and if you really want to progress better in game make your own spreadsheet.
My Shai is currently (using the Grumpy Green chart)
Cooking Master 1, Mastery 255 (this is without gear)
I'm wearing: (this is the gear that adds to that mastery)
Pearl Cooking Outfit
Loggia Cooking Outfit +10
All Loggia Accessories TRI
I have noticed my average per every 1000 regular item cooked, I get 200 blue items and 25 witches delicacies. Sometimes they both pop a bit more, but very rarely less.
I've got my cook times down to 4.7 seconds. I could get it down further with Silver Embroidered gear, but I prefer the Loggia to get my mastery up instead. I have also noticed when I eat a Seafood Cron Meal, it helps a bit with the cooking, but does nothing to improve my Imperial Crate turn in, so I think I'm maxed in that department.
My Processing is at Artisan Level 1
I do all of my own flour and dough making. Although I loose time because I do this, it saves me just a bit over 100K per Imperial Crate (Master Cook Level) not buying those items from the market.
My Gathering is at Professional Level 10
I rarely cook meat items is why this is currently so low.
I have +3 Silver Embroidered Gear for this.
I've been thinking about Farming, I know I'll need to work to raise those levels and it takes time, but I mainly want to start it to give me more self-sustain cooking items. Not because of the videos, make Millions/Billions from Farming.
My workers have taken a long time to level up.
I finally popped my first Artisan worker this week. I have him on Alejandro Farm gathering Cooking Honey.
The others 50% Professional currently around the 20 to 25 level
50% Skilled also currently around the 20 to 25 level.
Promotions average 33% success rate.
My grinding Character is a Level 61 Kunoichi, with 11% gain, so far towards level 62.
I've already given my AP/DP in this thread.
I prefer to grind in areas I can one shot, but makes me okay silver.
I know later, in the high end areas, one shotting won't be the case, but until I can PEN some of my armor and weapons, I won't be in those areas anytime soon.
My pets are one T2, two T3, and two T4.
I have some T1 pets also, that I need to start doing things with.
I have noticed, even with my pets set to aggressive, if I slow down my grind speed just a little bit, I make more silver in an hour.
My Seasonal Character has not been getting as much love due to me having to figure out what to do next and where to find things due to the Simplified questline. It has really thrown a wrench into my game play. Simplified questline a blessing 1/3rd of the time and a curse the other 2/3rds.
I have seen that Stars End can be done with a lower gear score, at one particular grind area, if you meal and potion up, get blessing, an tent help. All of them I can do, but I've been too chicken to do it. LOL 😄
(sigh) So many things to do. Hence why BDO is known as the marathon. 😊
