How grind heavy is this game ?
Is it more focused on grinding gear or levels ? I mean if you need 24h or more for 1 level than this game is to much grind for me. Im thinking about buying but i dont have that much free time to grind 24/7. Want a fun game and i like the look of combat but i dont want to grind 1 week for a level for a small progress. How are the activities ? I mean if you need to grind a lot than at least is there a lot of fun activities to earn exp to not get burned out quickly by doing 1 thing over and over.

Getting to level 61 is no issue at all. In fact, it's recommended to level with quests from 58 to 61 because that's more effective than grinding. But that's where XP skyrockets, and you lose XP when you die, so expect to stop leveling around level 61-63.

To get the best gear, you need a lot of ingame currency. Grinding is the most effective way to get that at high gear levels, but BDO is more like a sandbox MMO, so you have quite a few options how to make silver to get that gear going, like gathering, trading/bartering, crafting, horse breeding and more.

That's too funny. Your Avatar looks like you've been grinding too many Blood Wolves. 😂

I have been playing this game off and on for years, and the RNG to upgrade gear alone is enough to make anyone who has any self respect for their time give up.
I play super casual and accept I'll never finish the story, and am okay with that.

Don't fall in the RNG system and just save up your money to buy gear at the market

the entire game is a grind and it has a paywall upfront game is unplayable without pets extra inventory or a high weight limit the games great after you pay your entry fee

Another one lost touch with game years ago. You get free pets, weight has never been an issue if you use storage (buy apartments for storage space, upgrade them you lazy sod), I mean you can put a ton of extra slots in any major town you want to use for it, and you can ship from one storage to the next for even more space lol.

The pay wall don't even exist any more its so insanely high for p2w, and they give you gree gear worth billions, free pets, and so many free freaking sub vouchers from logging in or just being active its not funny. Its really pay to save some time and it adds up super damn fast.

And with the summer season going right now they hand you free weight and tons of ♥♥♥♥ just for making a char and leveling for the next month lol I mean my new corsair has almost as much weight at 31 as my 58 shai who gets a natural weight increase per level up. Why they give me tons of drinks for strength and hp experince every 5 levels, a free book full of skill point exp, just throw ♥♥♥♥ at me for leveling her up basically lol

Juck Norries stopped grinding cause the grind was too much for him.

So in other words, it is not worth spending ones time / life on such nonsensical activity, is it now? Repetitive tasks that bring no joy, value, education, or other growth to life are pointless...

Can be done in weeks. I am a new player started first day of the new season. Just tapped my last pen a few minutes ago not including acc. They give you everything you need in the season in abundance. You could play pretty casually and even get a few pens not including the pen necklace for just playing in the season.

Ive been playing for years, to get pens takes two or 3 months of everyday grind depending on piece, so full tet boss and accessories like layten, crescent, etc will take a bit but season makes it easier unless you are rng carried. forgot to mentioned the books and caphra levels thats not really accomplished that quick so i'd say 2 months top
