side question when was the last time you logged in and did you do the account transfer to pearl abyss this year before may 31st? If not that account is gone
Very good.
I was going for the 40$ pack with 250$ value for my account I already have lol, but oh well
So you were trying to cheat the system.
I must warn you playing through Steam is much more messy than a dedicated launcher, though you can manage your acc better through a united platform.
It used to be you could simply copy all the non steam black desert online files on top of the black desert online directory of steam, then just alter the launcher config file....and it would run your regular non-black desert online on the steam platform and even let you use the steam stuff for it. Though steam would for whatever reason seem to need to update and alter files. I have screen shots of playing my characters on the steam only servers in fact. I also used the steam client to purchase items too. But after the constant changes the steam client would do i got tired of changing things back over and over.
Oh yes i did need two copies of the game, as the copy on steam had the extra information to access the steam servers and such i guess.
Personaly not sure why they go to the lengths to stop having these linked. As people made links almost from day one.
Though i noticed a systematic attempt by random users to quash the information.
I play a bunch of games that use clients and then where put on steam, so to me...playing them through steam and using steam stuff or the regular companies stuff is just normal I thought.
I played warframe, star trek online, dc universe online, city of heroes, jade dynasty, perfect world, and a plaethora of other games that way for years.
Though i admit the biggest hurdle in doing it my way has been if you stop for a length of time...you have to go update 2 times more stuff.
Examample is Honkai 3rd impact, steam version is a bit wonky and doesnt do very good graphics....not sure why, but the regular version for windows is superior in that regard....thus i have to update both, copy files from the nonsteam over, adnauseum.
