QUEST HELP!

I have a problem in valencia the quest kibelius, the ancient spear. After talking to atosa the npc he gave me items and after reading the description it says to combine them, without hesitation I combined them not knowing that I need to accept the black spirit's quest first before combining them. So here I am, I can no longer complete the quest because the item was already combined. I also tried forfeiting the quest to see if it changes things but it doesn't. Any idea on how to resolve this issue?

Am I supposed to delete the Ancient spear? I'm scared of deleting it because I might not be able to complete the quest or get the items again.

NVM deleting them is the only way.

If you don't have the required items, talk to NPC Atosa in Aakman to receive Shimmering Spear and the Heart of the Ancient. (Also make sure to delete the spear before talking with the NPC)
