My Character is Weak AF

I dont get it.

Im lvl56 Archer, have my updated great bow, everything enhanced to at least +5, skills up to date, etc etc

The enemies Im fighting at Iron Mines have grey names, take forever to kill and give no experience.

Seems where I am is rated for AP 90-130 yet my AP is around 70.

Even with combat and xp buffs its painstakingly long to get nowhere.

What am I doing wrong?

I just started a ranger on the new seasons server and when I got to the Mediah side of things i felt very under leveled. I worked my way through as best i could with a mix of different story gear until I could complete awk/suc and now things are much better. Lots of food/elixer buffs and tons of hp pots...make sure you have all the story gear you can have 70 does seem pretty low.

I've been doing all the story quests and most side quests I've come across. I bought some updated armor and my defense is fine. I hardly ever have to reach for a heal potion. But if anything I felt like I was over leveled and why all the monsters I encounter have grey names. I thought I did too many side quests or something, lol. But the only issue is damage. And I understand there is an accuracy involved, but I am hitting them its just it takes forever to kill them and I get next to no XP.

I dont know about Archer but on my Ranger I used Cron stones even though I probably shouldnt to get all my Naru Armor and weapons to Pen. Im using Treant accessories from the Treant forest. I pretty much just spam Explosive Shot or Razor Wind ultimate upgrade or Penetrating Shot all fully upgraded. I thnk Archer is supposed to be alot stronger class so you should be smashing everything.

Your AP level is too low. at lv.56 you should be having your gear and weapon enhanced to level PRI (after +15) or higher. you may also want to look at what weapon you're using.

Some quick guide
You should have Gunil Armor set enhanced to PRI, they're a bit expensive but is a very good beginner armor. If you're leveling Seasonal Character, you should have your Season Armor (Naru at PEN or Tuvala at PRI at this point).

you should buy or have PRI Liverto, again.. expensive but worth it. if you can't afford Liverto, go for Rosar and enhanced to PRI (recommended at TRI). For seasonal gear, same thing, enhance Naru to PEN or tuvala to PRI.

as for accessories, go for Asula Set, they drop from monster ( see monster drop for reference) they provide a decent AP for beginner.


Im currently leveling Seasonal character and i'm cheap AF, all my gear is at PRI-DUO level (i'm using main quest armors) and using asula accessories. my current AP is at 160 and DP at 206 This is enough to grind squishier mobs until i reach lv.60 where i will be TETing my Tuvala gear

Hope this help. Also... join a PVE guild, they always looking for new members, and willing to give you guidance and help your. also, you can get daily silvers, which can help you financially especially a new player to the game

Im brand new player so Im still in the dark w the acronyms PRI and TEH .. Ill research.

But yea, Im cheap too so Ive been just dealing with quest rewards and what I see in merchants in the cities Ive reached.

My armor is ultimate dobro or something like that .. was the best I could find. Same w my main .. best I could get and enhanced to +7. The greatbow update I just received at ascention, doesnt support enhancement. I figured it would be viable since its a quest reward for lvl56 so thats confusing. Gear rewards are useless?

And I have looked on marketplace for better stuff but its either worse than i have, out of stock or millions more than I currently have. :(

Weapon reward from the main quest is useless, only good one out there is when you get Black Abyssal Weapon, but that is long way before you get that reward from the main quest.

acronyms PRI and to PEN is just a fancier way of saying +16 to +20 on enhancing level.

Dobart armor max enhancing level is +5, i would get rid of that armor. and again go for Gunil at +15 or better.

You may want to step off leveling for a moment and work on your financial needs to support yourself. again.. joining an established guild is a good start, you can get up to 5mil silver per day just for being a guild member. this will definitely boost your financial needs. also, you should look at enhancing guide so you know what you're doing as enhancing can be really expensive at the same time if not being done correctly.

Okay, I think you demystified enough for me to realize the thing I have not been concerned with enough is enhancement. Did not realize it played such a big part so early in the game. I've avoided because of the risk factors but it appears the risk is essential.

no problem.

just make sure you're enhancing correctly. If it not done correctly, it can hurt your wallet, but if it done right, it can be a huge saving then buying the desired enhanced gear outright

I just got to level 56 myself and checked it out. OMG! It took me from 100 AP to 160 for the cost of 2 silver. My understanding is that it is good as long as the Oasis Event is going and since it has been going for a solid 9 months, it seems to be permanent.

omg you used Cron stones, one of the most valuable resources in the game.. to update naru gear which is literally the worst gear in the game and the easiest to enhance.. my heart bleeds

helm is 90-110 ap and your tring to do it at 70 lol. on top of that you bottom helm is more ap then upper helm. if your tryn to grind bottom helm with 70 ap good luck.
