Aion vs Black Desert

Hi all, i have had this game sat in my library now for over a year, my MMO spirit kinda died back in the WOW days after the 4th expansion i think, i played a lot of Aion when it released and have not found any other MMOs worth playing.

So i found out this is a Korean MMO an New World released today, it seems to simple for my taste, getting to the point will i enjoy this game? does it have open world PVP like Aion did, raids etc? thanks for the reply's in advance, happy gaming 😀

It does have open world PVP, World Bosses(raids), since it's Korean mmo the PVP and grind are big in this game.
The strongest points of the game are the combat system and graphics, most new players get overwhelmed when they first try the game, because they don't now what to do first.
I suggest first follow the main story line on the Season Servers for New Players, it is much better and the progression is faster.
Also recommend watching some guides about the game.

I started playing BDO when the new season started to kill time between the new world betas and full release. BDO quickly made me realize how simple and shallow new world currently is. I have been playing BDO non stop since and will continue to play BDO. I own new wold (pre-order) and have not even logged-in because it just doesn't hold a candle to BDO.

I don't know which Aion you played (but I assume it was the OG Aion) but anything after 4.8+ was getting worse and worse, don't even get me started on 7.0, what the hell.

(random) open world PvP is rather dead, but you can go Perma Red to spice PvE up - I have two dedicated PermaRed characters and it's a lot of fun.

I've played Aion for 4 years, BDO seems to be the most suitable MMO for Aion crowd for now.

Haven't played New World, but it seems pretty shallow.
