All classes seems the same?
There seem to be no real difference between the classes? I mean, they all seem to be close/medium ranged groupfighters with quick bursts and dodges.

You are mainly correct. The Classes are in its core the same (with wizard beeing the only slight difference)
But they the have vastly different Ästhetics and smal gimmiks that put them apart from each other. But you are correct in the way that gameplay ist the same no matter what class.
However this ist also important because with REAL different classes the Balancing would be near impossible for a PVP-Focused game.

Haha! Well if that's the case, I'm happy. It's just that when comparing to other RPG's / MMORPG / ARPG there's usually a rather distinct look and feel that tells the classes apart.
Here, everything looks like brawling.

Maybe it's different when you actually play it..

So you are making this assumption without playing the game? Granted, I am still downloading for the first time but I would not assume to know the play style of classes until I have actually played. If I am wrong, please let me know as it would be good information to have before creating a class.

Most classes do everything because there's not really any distinct tank/healer/dps class. There's not much group content in the game so all classes tend to do everything. Some just do it better than others. (Please correct me if I'm wrong or expand onto this. I know some classes buff others and can heal each other.)

Laughed my head off reading that and nodding. My two *main* characters there. LOL
Yes, all the classes are the same, butttttttttt *different* in combat style/abilities.

Awakened Wizard waving his staff around can heal/resurrect/put up a big sphere of protection on others, teleports around in between blasting fire/ice/earthquakes with his sphere/staff switching.

Awakened Ranger sneers at that and says "don't get hit" and evades like a demon, mows down multiple mobs with various styles of arrows and uses a sword in close combat.

Armor/accessories (rings/earrings/necklace/belt) gear is the same for all classes.
The weapons/skills are not.

Kitten is correct in saying that all classes can tend to do everything, but playing style will make a huge difference what class you want to play.

Great. Glad to hear this ^_^

Yes, I based it on the vids on the store and a few gameplay videos.

Thanks for the replies! Looks can be deceiving. Glad to be corrected. Might pick this up in a few days when I go on vacation :)

Agree all the same crap

There are a big difference on most of the classes.
xyz Aug 7, 2020 @ 10:02pm
They are deceptively different at enough skill exp. Sure the gender variants pre awakening are somewhat similar but if you try some of the trial characters in the arena you should see the differences

Play the game and then you'll find out this isnt your outdated tab-targeting trash MMO.

You'll soon come back crying for help because you have zero clue what're you doing.

Surely this comment is a flipping joke. This game takes far less brain cells than tab targeting. Enemies are mindless. Just run up oneshot a pack and move on.
Yeah I agree so far. Been playing a few hours now and testing out two classes.
REALLY simple combat honestly. Especially with my Guardian.
All I use is the special attack once and everyone is basically dead. Do it once more for good measure and everyone is surely dead. When I run out of stamina I attack twice with simple strikes and then I'm back in destructo-mode.

For fun I ran up to some mobs around lvl 17 when I was lvl 12 and although I did have a bit of trouble killing them, they were no real threat. Eventuelly I killed a pack and I had lost maybe 25% of my HP.

Honestly, I hope the game gets serious soon? This is childs play at best.

The other class I tried was the chinese-inspired fighter. She has no easy-mode AOE but still, the game offers no real challenge, at least not yet. She's just slower to grind with but still in no danger.

I'll give it a few more levels but if it doesn't bring a challenge soon this game will get a thumbs down from me.
I have like 40 potions and never been even remotely close to having to use them, and I'm constantly in the midst of mobs. :/

You are in the honeymoon learning time, where its all sweet and easy to teach you the basics of the game.
Your combat will get more challenging as you become higher level and need better gear.

Guardian is honestly super easy mode, and if you want a challenge try doing something above your AP.
joj0.st4r Aug 13, 2020 @ 9:06am
as a new player you could run into problems of course just from being new and not understanding how some bosses work or missclicking or pulling to many mobs and some violent mobs join in the fun...but
the first real dangerous place you will be asked to go to is some co-op quests
and no1 does these co op so you better get around that problem lol
there is 1 kind of early in the soldiers graveyard and 1 with basilisks
unless you overgear(and you wont if you do your quests and maybe get asulas by now)
the basilisks will just pretty much 2 shot u

if you play a season character you will probably have no problems here since the season event throw stuff at you
