Why Did the Goblins Run Away?
Why is this quest so horribly broken? Or is there a mysterious mechanic I'm unaware of. The little bastards either don't follow at all or randomly stop. :deadsheep:

Walk backwards, it helps a lot :)

they dont seem to follow at all unless you look at them but even then, they randomly stop following

Escort quests come in two flavours in BDO. One type has the escorted person follow you at 600MPH up hill, over dale, through monsters, across the ocean, and they'll killsteal any world bosses they come across because that's how good they are.
The other type has the person being escorted crawl along at 2 feet a minute, stop constantly, and decide you've ceased to exist if you're not within 6 inches staring at their face.

Unfortunately the second type seems to be more common - or at least they turn you off escorts so much that you never see the good escorts.
