Lol that'd be terrible for players that use the option, youd get pkd so fast, but they already have a system in place were it'll instance you if your computer has too many issues with the area, or it'll hard crash you.

That's the whole point of hiding player models and their mounts glogging up every hole, to not render them, to lessen performance hits.

And since you're on about PKing, sure. Only hide players not hostile to you and not in your party/friends/guild.

There´s a setting somewhere in the video options to hide excess player models in cities, it mostly doesn´t work.
As per usual.
Only other comparable thing is the pet hide/show setting.
