True Reason Why People Still Play Bdo

if i would say cause there is noting beters currently i wouldent have more to say
even thou thats the reason ;D
people play this game cause there litrally is noting betters out on the market of mmorpgs

pearl abyss doesnt realize yet that if there comes a game out with solid pve and pvp and freedom in gameplay that no1 would be left in bdo exept a couple players who thinks pvp is good in this game but thats what i see so far :PP

so they did it pretty good :D they make money from the game while creating content
people who have been playing this game for a decade by now are playing it so casual atm
and dont even whaste thair time with others mostly and are bored to death

there are a couple so bored that they just randomly pk players xD which no1 enjoys rly :o

life skilling became more usefull but is still meh boring

large scale pvp is a instant kill fest and not wourth your time checking out

unbalance is written all over most classes

trading between players isnt possible yet after 4? years !? which is also a reason
why many players are leaving the game cause its not friendfriendly
its more solo play then team play however you look at it

the kind of games i am waiting for is probly Sword Art Online level games
which arent in the world yet so ill be stuck in bdo for a while

also as for an mmorpg requiem rise of the reaver
has the most freedom in skill use ive seen so far
sadly it banned entire EU cause its from warpportal
this game has also trading between players
and you could sell things on the market with own prices
instead of a price you MUST add to is
so players basicly create the economy instead of an BOT

if bdo had this kind of freedom in pvp/pve
with more choices of skills like reducing cooldown time and
make DP actually usefull for once it would be alot beter
also there is only a limited choice of weapons and armor in bdo
what makes endgame players ``always`` wear the same gear and items

thats also boring xD in other mmorpgs you can make like those different armor builds
to actually make a change in gameplay but thats totally not it in bdo

is spending money into bdo a whaste of money yes it is
is there a way to properly play bdo without spending money NOPE

I think the average/above average IQ players have already left this game. Only the mindless grinders and afk bots left. But they are in the game 24/7. I stopped playing when the game have stolen all my necklace accessories and other stuff which needed for the enhancing. That was the point where my daily 16hrs went to 0 sec almost instantly. At first i was mad, but now im actually happy for this fake@$$ manipulated rng. I just started spending money in the ingame shop so this re ta rded enhance system cured my addiction and saved me a lot of money. Goog guy PA. You are a real saver.
Anyway this gear enhance system totally kills the game. Not even worth starting because of this. On the long run the game just simply destroy your progression which is like you throw out an afwul lot of time out of the window and you will never get that time back. This is nothing like in other games where u farm it and its there so after u get bored it will be still there when u want to start the game again.
+developers like to re-balance the classes which has nothing to do with the fair play. They just make 1 or a few more class to disgustingly OP and some other to useless piece of shiiiiiii just to force the real life zomboids to buy class change coupons for euros. If anybody is ok with this shady tactic its up to them, but for the rest: even if u dont want to waste ur resources to test ur luck on the higher level enhancing your character will be ruined because of this phenomenon.

This game can be good if it wouldnt demand so much time from ur life and the enhance system wouldnt try to steal all ur hard work and progression. So yeah, this game is for bots.

Oh look, here are the negative private accounts again. They don't play the game anymore, but are still on the forum to spread negativty.

Plenty of people that do like the game and are playing it right now, if you don't like the game then just move on.

The epic fail steam recommendation system put this game in my queue, so after my visible disgust i checked if this game is still the old broken botfest or they actually rebalanced the gameplay to make it enjoyable to the majority of the players not just the whales. But its still the same ♥♥♥♥... Btw what the heck is this private profile fetish? Are you anxious if you cant peek to stranger profile? Are you sweating too? I set my profile to friends only, deal with it.

Too often private profiles are toxic profiles and can't be taken seriously. Anyway, your rant about the RNG enhancement can simply be bypassed by buying enhanced gear off the market. Enhancing gear and playing the RNG game is not mandatory, but your own choice. I am playing the game for 3 months now and I haven't enhanced a single thing in the game. The only RNG I encounter are from event lootboxes and those are free so there is no loss.

And the so called 'bots' AFK players are not bothering you so I don't really see how you can get upset by that. I see plenty of people roaming around and grinding and questing, but you apparently rather focus on some AFK fishers at the towns. Your negativity is your own perception that many people do not share.

Yes, this is an option too. But if u want a really high level item (TET or more), you still need an awful lot of silver just to purchase it and rng still a big part in it, because you compete against other players to buy it from the market. So basically have 2 option, sit in front of the market waiting for items to pop up or actually grind ur gear which can be much much cheaper than buying or a lot more "depends on the cancer R N G". (both option is meh) There is no good method only a more time consuming or even more time consuming variation "depends on the cancer R N G".
And you misunderstod me. Idc with the bots. I cared with the gameplay itself which force you to do automatized activities like that. Life skilling is basically a waste of electricity bill. Extremly boring. You have to leave your character ingame just to get some additional silver or chop trees. Gathering logs are the worst because u actively have to do this, you cant go afk. Or the worker empire: there is no full automatized thing, at one point you have to recharge the resources or process the half completed products to make them final which can go to the market. (at first i thought what an awesome game, like factorio but in a fantasy rpg setting, but no, it was ruined by developer choice). And the other legendary fail is that ur worker empire dont do anything if u are not logged in. wth?
What the game did me in the past was a good indicator to stop this madness. After that i couldnt tolerate these major flaws. Right now im thinking on guild wars 2, because i heard its more user friendly not demand a daily 20 hrs from ur life. But after bdo im extremly cautious about this mmo genre.

Also lifeskilling isn't mandatory, you can actively grind mobs instead to make silver. And as for buying gear on the market, I personally just place a buy order at a high price and within a few days I have my new gear. I really don't care if I have to pay 50/100mil silver more to get the gear. It's an MMO after all, you play it for the long run and not for instant gratification. I feel no rush to get to full TET/PEN gear, I will get there sooner or later and in the mean time I just have fun with grinding and questing.

Your complaints are mostly about 'I have to do this', but you don't have to do anything you don't want, you can play the game how you want to play it.

But if you want some advanced armors and weapons you HAVE TO do everything. Full Tri gear I had within the first week of playing, not a big deal. I am already working on a TET gear set and have a few billion saved. A full TET gear set won't take me a year, but more like 4 or 5 months... and thats fine as I am in no hurry. PEN will be a harder to get, but for PvE I don't need a full PEN set, TET will probably be enough for that.

the BOT afk players are grinding while not even playing the game now they also got speed hacks and if you try to attack then you most likely die unless you CC them wdym they dont bother you?

Your complaints are mostly about 'I have to do this', but you don't have to do anything you don't want, you can play the game how you want to play it.

with life skilling with a pretty good worker empire higher nodes and higher ranked workers
you can just look at your pc screen once a day to give them beer

do that for 6 days and the 7th day you actually play the game for 3-4 hours

and make about 3-5 billion so basicly that saved you about 30-50 hours grinding at top zones

just in 3-4 hours :D thats how most life skillers do it to make the most out of thair irl time
even thou i personally like grinding more but everyone does it in thair own way

tet will be enough for pve your totally correct
as of accessories you dont need pen accessories
as for weapons having a tet blackstar and pen dandel/kutum would be pretty dope

as for pvp you do need pen gear half pen accessories and pen weapons most go
pen kzarka cause they capa it a bit so its beter then a tet blackstar for pvp

Glad to know moron's are still defending this game years later, even despite the forced in pay to win features they added into the US verison. You got to realize they have to rational the fact that they only play to dress their female characters in skimpy outfits.

Just dont pick long, drawn out fights with the BDO fanboys, if they want to waste away their life's and cash like mindless sleep, their is nothing that you can say that will convice them.
