Font Size (How do you Change)

I'm trying to play the game but I literally can't because I can't see the letters,

I tried to look through the menus and can't find any 'font' options (obviously the fact that I can't read the letters doesn't help..)

I tried various settings from windowed to fullscreen, 1280x720 and 1930x1600 etc,

they don't change enough to be legible for me to read.

(I'm playing on a 15+foot wall, my 'viewing size' is obviously not an issue.. the actual letters need to be made bigger relative to the game),

Go to Settings/Display settings/Game window... there you will see an UI slider.

thanks bootsy, unfortunately that changes the size of everything, but I guess I can live with that..

that said, is there a 'UI On/Off' button?

I looked for it in the interface thing couldn't find one,

what's the button to show/hide the UI?

Ctrl/U hides the interface, it's the screenshot mode so not suited for combat.

well that's the whole point of it I want to get rid of the ridiculous UI to grind out combat in 'theatre' mode lol,

let me try it but yeah it's gonna be pretty ridiculous if the game's font is so small you need to pump up the UI but then you can't get rid of the UI etc lol what is this 1995? lol..

okay trying it it's not bad you can still fight etc,

that's cool but hey since I didn't see it in the interface keys is it rebindable?

what heading is it under in the interface options?

Facing the same issue with font size, just grabbed the game while it's on sale today and at 3440x1440 the Quest part of the Ui is blurry and near unreadable same as my health etc up the top left, meanwhile increasing UI scale makes all the buttons etc massive and ugly...ugh it's annoying.

If anybody has any help to increase just certain elements I would really appreciate it, but I doubt it's a feature sadly.

No (don't feel bad for your input), - thanks for adding that,

I'm like disturbed myself by how bad it is I seriously wondered how the game could have such good 'graphics' but such hard to read text,

I'm still waiting on finding out if there's a rebindable hotkey for the 'control+U' to shut off the UI button combination (cause obviously I can't play with controller if I gotta keep pressing that to show/hide my UI when I alternate between combat and quest reading etc..)

I mean it's ridiculous how does such a massive game like this have such a stupid problem,

and why don't people mention stuff like this in reviews, it's obviously an issue cause there are youtube videos on changing the font but why do players have to do 'back-door' work-arounds to something that should've been done properly in the pre-alpha stages of an mmo of this size.

Unbelievable what they churn out nowadays in 'gaming' ..

(EQ2 and many other mmos have simple, adjustable 'font' sizes, just like I heard this does for it's chat box so why not everything else, eesh.. )

Yeah it's pretty frustrating, my eyesight is already dropping as I get older....aren't got time to sit and squint to read text lol

lol it's just bad (the way the game is designed), I play on a 20 foot diagonal (yes, feet) 'screen' (wall with a projector) and I can't read the freaking text,

it's ridiculous lol

(I think pretty much everyone with this problem is referring to that 'bubble speech' that black shadow does (in regards to quests) and the quest updates on the right side of the screen mostly, if they would just fix that it wouldn't be an issue.. )

wish these devs would play their own freaking games sometimes lol..

also have this problem. i played the game at launch and quit over this exact thing. came back this last week for all the goodies in the new seasonal model and free dream horse + 7 free pets + 5 free premium outfits + 1 free 61 character and HOLY MOLY i cant believe font size is still tiesd to UI size... this is just ridiculous... how do the devs themselves handle developing the game for 12 hours a day squinting at this text?!?!?!?!
