someone invited me to a private server, and I wanted to know if it is legal to enter a private server, and if it is legal, I would like to know what to do, because I do not see any option to connect to a private server.

If you already bought the game its pretty much legal, the people who would get in trouble are the ones who created the server in the first place. Installed a VPN if your worried.

Also i wouldent bother with BDO private servers, Most likely going to be bugged to hell and will lack many core features "it took wow since TBC, 2008, to get decent scripted servers"

yes, I've actually been invited because the people on this server are doing roleplay

This is not the place to discuss private servers. It is against ToS. I will be locking this.
