Valencia Desert. Please Help.

I played the game with some characters and brought them around 55-56. With one I decided to continue the main quest in Valencia (after Mediah) and I got stuck. In the desert you cannot navigate. Fine, but how do i go to a specific place? Horses can't sprint. Fine, but how do I get a camel? I need a little tutorial with desert because i feel confused and I don't know how to continue my path in this game. Thanks in advance for every answer!

Buy compass parts in the marketplace so that you can navigate in the desert more easily (recommended for 1st time desert exploration). There is also a quest at the bazaar to get the compass eventually, but buying it from the marketplace is just more easy.

You get a camel by trading in seals that you can get from a stable master. To get the seals you need to trade horses that are level 15, the higher tier the horse the more seqals you will get. Those seals you can trade in at the bazaar stable for a camel, you need 5 seals for a camel.

well u can get a camel from a quest from the stable keeper in sand grain bazaar (no you dont need seals, its a questline (your best friend in the desert) - but sure u can get one for seals too)
and you can get a compass or map to find "easier" in the desert I suppose

You can currently buy a 1 day compass from Ellie for 1 silver (She's near the stables in major towns) that will help you navigate for now, you still wont be able to set paths in the desert, but it will show you your position on the map.

You can get a free camel from a quest from the stable keeper (Bochlo)in sand grain bazaar also, it's a quick 'talk to people' type, you'll need something like 15 energy

so best use that one while you still can

Boy, you're not going to like my answer but here goes. I'd get a donkey and walk backwards zipping all through it. See what happens. (I actually did that) When I first went into the desert I got lost. Almost died. Met surprise NPC's. Got attacked. It was the best thing to happen ..I started learning where I was based on the terrain. Honestly,..check out all the suggestions you have here and then pick the level of comfort you're ready to accept to enjoy the game. Then walk backwards from Valencia talking to your guildies <3

i just winged i, pointed my dude in the direction of the quest marker and just headed out and found the places w/o too much hassle. i thought that's what everyone did really

p.s. i just ran everywhere in the desert for breath xp
