or will they just get easier in the future

No they don't scale. Only difficulty difference is if they have just spawned or not. When they are red (V) then they deal more damage than if they are blue (I), but even then they are easy to tank if you keep moving around.

stay away from the skeleton king and only skeleton king ...
when you lower his hp to a certain level he will continuously emit an aoe with down effect that will guarantee you ate all consecutive hits until you die if you got caught once.
waste of your revival items ...

I don't get why you'd use your revival items on Dark Rift bosses. You don't lose EXP or Crystals if you die to a dark rift boss.
