Also - NEVER feel pressured to buy something just because it's only available for a "limited time". There is never not an event happening in BDO. It will be on sale again. It's just a cheap sales tactic to make it appear limited so you feel pressured to buy.
It allows you to grind longer without having to stop to sell off. I have a small army of storage maids which (In my opinion is better) since all characters can make use of them to offload junk to sell later while grinding.
Also if you are processing for life skills it makes a MASSIVE difference since you can process that much more while having the game minimized to tray. But then you probably also want to invest in the maid outfit so you can process from storage.
There are plenty of ways IN game to add a lot of weight capacity too. Golden Coral Manos belt is +100 per tier. Set you back some serious silver but a TRI has +300LT on it. ( TET is +400LT)
And its 3500 loyalty (I think?) you can upgrade your weight capacity as well. (up to 4 times).
Leveling, doing some adventure logs, training weight (only by drinking potions that give weight exp) and I still don't think I absolutely need more carry weight still. I tend to keep my inventory fairly clean though which many people have a real issue with. That makes them feel they need weight because they don't want to store all the junk in their inventory they don't need on them.
+200 (Hercules 3pc)
+115? (gems)
+600 (pen manos belt)
+100 (food or draught)
+200 (total from loyalty)
so there's a lot of max weight increase without having to put money in.
Btw, imo 5k pearls is just overpriced, just like most stuff in this game
