Best life skill class(es) ?
The diffrences are small/negligible (speed/horse and such) but what are the best life skill classes (below 49, or not), in "your opinion" eitherway?

From my expierence, giant is terrible or even the worst for obvious reasons. (Camera probs in residence while cooking, low speed/no advantages etc.)

Wizard is kinda good despites what one might expect, the heals are pretty damn useful in the desert and when going to higher areas in generel having life outfit/gear equiped. (removes the need for potions, i.e. much more weight avaible).

What are your expierences/opinions ?

(Thinking about turning my wiz into a boss alt and making a life musa, worth it ? or rather make a fresh boss alt witch and stick with wiz ?)

With life skilling, you're not really moving or you really shouldn't be moving except if you're gathering. If you are gathering, the best class is Musa/maehwa or tamer.

Musa/maehwa can dash as fast as a running tier 3 horse for a short period of time. That's good from going from cook NPC to your residence or tree to tree.

The tamer is so your beast can auto attack while you're gathering. It's just a small bit more than the other classes. Your pet will collect the dead rewards. Just small things like that. Sure, you can AoE ranger or wizard, but that's not life skilling. You're gathering or afk fishing. Your beast is there just for the heck of it.

For actually killing like world bosses, wiz/witch is good. That distance will keep you from dying. These aren't really life skills though, but more of killing skills.

It does not remove the need for potions at all (58 Witch here), it will keep you alive in the desert. I've made like 6 energy battery/failstack characters.

DK seems OP as ♥♥♥♥. I can kill purple mobs with ease and it has crazy mobilty I've seen high level ones show up in grinding areas with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ p2w ghille/treant costume and they can port around so much (every 2 seconds even at lvl 17) they would always get the drop in ganking scenarios.

Ranger was the weakest by far. I know at awakening it stops being a ranged class. I remember when I was leveling around the Ogre area I ran in to a Ranger who was much higher level than me and was attacking the Mutant Ogre which is a world boss. I didnt know it was a world boss and I attacked it too for like 20+ minutes. Its health started to turn red and the Ranger flagged and attacked me, I hit them back but I left after doing significant damage to them, I didn't know why they attacked me or whatever but it was taking too much time. They should have been much harder to damage just based on level alone, they might be one of the most underwhelming classes I've seen.

Sorc was fun but nothing stood out as great.

Tamer okay. I don't know when you get the dog, I didn't have it at 17.

Beserker is slow as ♥♥♥♥. I've seen them move around fast after awakening. Supposedly this is a great class for PVP.

I don't think I've played anything else. I have heard a lot of horse trainers say stop at 49 but doesn't matter for anything else.

I've played some node wars. They're mostly terrible one shot lagfests. OWPVP is a joke because of the Karma system. I played this game originally because it's supposed to be a PVP game but it really doesn't feel like one. Some of the Lifeskill mechanics are at least interesting, like the P2W pet breed gambling, Horse breed gambling, I only AFK fish and any class can do that.

I just started playing about two weeks ago, the only class i have really any exp is my main, just ascended level 56 tamer.

You get the doggie at level 20.

There is a Youtube video, hiw to level a tamer to 50 in under 30 minutes....

It is a VERY nice gathering class.

1. You can use you dog to engage creatures while you "farm".

2. You can ride the dog at level 49. So you never have to bring a horse with you.

2a. Doggeh can jump off cliffs and "die" leaving you unhurt, and instant resummon dog.

2b. Doggeh will allow you to be "overweight" and not slow to walk, much like a regular mount.

2c. Doggeh requires no food.

I shouldnt be moving around on my life skill char ? huh ?
He moves around all day, as he does "EVERYTHING", thats not related to fighting.

I appreciate the input but I dont get your point of view.

@ Straykaiya

That sounds pretty useful indeed.

Would assume Ninja is also pretty neat, atleast my 49 ninja gets around fast af, have him parked on dailies.

Wonder about Striker as life skiller - havent leveled one past 20 but they seem to be getting around kinda fast aswell.

I use mostly my main for lifeskills (kuno) and ive no complain at all.

Fast move (super run speed and spam dash), plus double jump, makes moving around a breeze (for gathering or moving around the city to vendors, traders, houses etc...)

Can heal very well with the spin to heal (need mobs and awakened...)
In case of fight with the infamous gathering suit on...

I dont say it is the best, but it is very well rounded...and i like her as main anyway.

You don't understand because you don't "life skill" enough to understand. Carry 120% weight in logs and tell me which characters are still okay with speed. You're welcome.

Are you trolling, son ? Why are you so butthurt and salty ? If you expect me to hop onto your bait, mr. pro gamer, than you are even more cringeworthy. If you got nothing to contribute, get out.

Yeah I agree, I caught the feeling that ninja/kuno are kinda decent as life skiller on my ninja parked at calph dailies.

I Get why you would want multiple classes but honestly why bother. You can only play 1 character at a time so why have 2 seperate for two game aspects which can be done on the same character. All you're doing is potentially screwing yourself with pearl items and such with them being character bound most of the time.

Will hit Master 1 in processing by the end of the week & still do grinding and such on the same char (sorc)

Man, this thread was like asking a mentally challanged person, why he choose to wear that kind of pants or shirt, over another one. Especialy this black spirit icon dude.
This games community in a nutshell - never ceases to leave me speechless. ;)

So you can't decid what pant and shirt combo to recomend I take it? There is no right or wrong answer here, its more like you asked what shirt and pant combo you should where when all them are the same just come in like 3 diffrent shades...

Serriously no reason to not level all them on your main if you want to. I mean afk fishin gets you steady income, farming not that big but you can grow your own carrots for mounts, proccessing and gathering if you inted to sell or make your own ♥♥♥♥ is a must on at least one char. As far what class or char is best that is all opinion they all freaking work.

I mean you can gather on anything, hell all my toons got at least blue ranked skill in gathering and prossessing as I couldn't make up my mind on who to gridn first. But there really isn't a best class as they all work its not wow where there is druid flight form users gathering up all the crap in a zone. And there is no racial bonuses to gathering so really what ever one you want to be on the most...

i truthfully don't see the point of having a "life skill class" it's not effecient since if you are truly invested in life skilling all of your characters should be used for such purpose not just one class

I did say musa/maehwa and tamer, but all you did want deny them like a sack of bigotry. Musa and maehwa have a dash that allows you to move faster even when you're carrying 130% for a short duration. Tamer has a 25LT increase in her skills as well as allowing your character to ride Heilang while carrying too much weight. Moving with heilang with 130% weight is like riding a horse incase you don't have a horse nearby. Why is this important? Life skill fishing, log gathering, and crops. Again, you're welcome.

musa/maehwa and tamer dashes are slowed just like the characters move speed and their distance traveled is alterated aswell (not quite sure for musa/maehwa). and musa/mehwa run out of energy much faster than kuno does while kuno runs fast, has a buff that makes her run like a bike and another spell basically refilling her entire energy. as for heilang it's not like a horse as he has no autorun, is very slow on base speed cause he's just walking, and can only "really" move around using sprint and jump at the same time. also a horse is slowed down by weight while heilang doesnt seem to be affected by it at all
you're not dashing correctly with musa/maehwa then. Right clicking takes a small portion of stamina, and you'll probably point out it requires energy, which can be replenished with an ability every 15 seconds. Also, you're not suppose to right click and move. That's just for combat. You're suppose to WWLmb, WWLmb to connect your dashes almost instantly without slight cooldowns. That's just advanced movements and for a short time. You only need a short time to get to your horse, right? Or say, if you're carrying your limit 150% of items from cooking/alchemy NPC or furnature from one NPC to your residence. Sure, you can use a horse, but you still have to get off your horse afterwards and carry it inside.

So, now heilang. I'm sure you noticed that you don't get auto-walk, but how far do you need to go to get to your horse. You point out a wagon. So use a wagon, but how do you carry all that to the wagon. I get the fact that kuno moves faster, but is it as fast as with 130% over the limit 100 units away from your horse vs musa/maehwa or tamer? The thing about tamer is that you can jump from high places as well taking no fall damage. Who knows why you'll be doing that especially w/life skills. Why are you so high up there? Perhaps because we were promised later on in the newer DLC building and rock climbing life skills. How would one get down from a high place if it isn't climbing back down? Then there's also that extra 25LT that helps. Just a bit. That's basically saying, you didn't really need to buy that extra carry weight limit nor have to train for it. Even if you do train for it, you can train with tamer on top of that 25LT.
