First letter (character) is upper case!

I am extremly picky when it comes to perma names, and can spend hours staring at the screen, thinking about it.

My first letter is upper case.

Raeyn is already taken, so I tried "Raeyn_", as underscore is allowed.

Then I get the message, that the first letter must be upper case! Which it is.

I didn't really want to make a post about this, but there is NO second chance here. Therefore, I just can't take chances & see what might actually work :/
It may seem stupid, but is nevertheless very important to me.

The Underscore has to be between two words. It can't end your character name.

Just save your character model and recreate another one with different name.

I get where you are coming from. My characters do follow a naming convention as well, and it gets really tricky sometimes.

Yes :/ Well, this is gonna take quite a few hours.... And that's just the "family name". Have no idea what Raeyn should have added & where.

Ra_eyn? Nope. Raey_n? Nope.
Something else than Raeyn? Yes, for characters, that will do. Have been using this name for quite a few years.

Numbers? puuuh.... Maybe with an underscore seperation at the end?

i love how one of the main problems in this game is names are taken..of course they are! this game is not new..it only is to steam! every single name i have typed in has not been takken! my striker is name Zerrack! my Maehwa is named zelinion, my tamer is named Cuteterra and then BOOM ninja is named Serpico which is a famous character from Berserk! just think outside the box yo

my takken spelling has been turning into tekken for weeks now..Tekken 7 so good <3

Your Family name is your username. when you are in game, it will be displayed above your character's name, along with a title, if you pick one.

Sort of like this:

<Guild Name>
(Title)
FamilyName
Character_Name

I have a character or two where favorite names from past MMORPGs were taken and settled for a prefix of "lady" as in Lady_Charname. Maybe you'll find that helpful.

While the game has been out for some time, it's made worse by the universal server aspect of it. Other games may have "Charname" taken on Server #1 but not on Server #5. Here, it's "first person in NA/EU to claim it gets it".
