I don't remember the differences exactly. I think green has a small chance of improving to blue OR gold, Blue will improve to Blue and gold has a small chance of improving to gold.
I'm not entirely sure because I always make Ultimate Reform Stones for the 100% chance.
And how do you make ultimate reform stones?
And do i have to have it at +15 to do so? If i dont, do i have to go +15 again? Sorry, i have so many questions. I love this game, but im a noob.
Items stays enchanted, and repairing durability remains with the base item, so a Blue Grunil armor can still be repaired with green armor.
Which is not true for boss weapons like liverto or awakening weapons
To make an Ultimate, you need 10 Grade 3 stones and 1 Black Shard of the appropriate type and you heat them together.
Making your weapon Ultimate does not change it's enchantment level (ie, a +8 green turns into a +8 Ultimate).
So I looked it up and the Grade 3 has a low chance of making an item Ultimate, so you could get lucky and get it in fewer than 10 stones. Or not.
This game is really complex in many different ways and we've all been where you are, so ask away.
