The point is that I'd like to be able to have more than 60 frames in game, is there any way to do it ?

Refresh rate has nothing to do with frames per second. It just reduces the delay of anything you'd normally see or do.
Frames per second has a lot to do with refresh rate.
If the games image updates more, or less, then your monitor, you'll get some "tearing".
Basically you'll see part of the old game image and part of the new game image.
If you lock the game image update rate to your monitors update rate (called vertical synchronisation / VSync), you'll get rid of the tearing and a much smoother experiance.
But that means that the game won't update faster than your monitor and most monitors run at 60hz, and if the game stutters or drops a few frames, it needs to drop even more frames to keep in sync with the monitor.
So a higher hz on your monitor means you can lock the games image update rate to a higher value.

I haven't played since the Beta way back, but I think if you run the game in borderless window mode (or maybe the other way around?) the FPS limit unlocks.
The game is a bit of a mess in general, so get used to stuff like this heh.

Play in fullscreen, not windowed, and it should unlock fps limit.

if it's doing it on AMD there is a issue then. I'm guessing he has a freesync or gsync monitor, which i don't think nvidia ever made it possible to do gsync in windowed or full screen windowed yet if that's the case.

If it's the game and not the engine, may not be able too. If it's just the vsync setting doing it turn it off and force it on Nvidia/AMDs control panel see if that works. Working fine for me on 75hrz on freesync.

If you have a nvidia graphics card, you can go into Nvidia Control Panel and specifically turn off vysnc for Black Desert. AMD has some sort of equivalent but idk if it works for this game or not.

Disabling vsync will unlock your fps and at least theoretically you could indeed get up to 144, although you'd need one beast of a PC.

I'm pretty sure I had already set the game to run at fullscreen and it still got capped at 60 FPS.

It really activates my almonds when a game made within the last 20 years doesn't have an option to turn off vsync, but...it's not like that's the only thing the devs of this game did in an utterly incompetent matter.

Disable V-Sync. Doesnt work? Try fullscreen instead of windowed, or vice versa.
Was there ever a fix? I cant get the game above 60fps and every limiter is turned off.

I play at 144... I know that doesn't help lol

Turn ff ansel, disable "Full Screen Optimizations" (Locate BlackDesert64.exe and modify properties for this), turn off vsync. Also, some nvidia GPU drivers wouldn't allow above 60fps on full screen border, might have to roll back.

Turned off ansel, disabled full screen optimizations, vsync is off, and im using regular full screen. Still locked at 60fps.
